Um... Not to diss Kebu, (who is an outstanding player/performer), but he's got plenty of sequencer tracks in use. Now, what you should have said is that being able to synchronize a live multi-synth performance with the backing sequenced tracks, (and controlling everything involved), is impressive. Because it is.

Good art of any sort should inspire and move your audience, even if they aren't artists themselves...and man has Kebu done a great job of that. As a heavy metal musician and lover of music in general, i am nothing short of Inspired. There's a lot of electronic music artists, old and new who compose and play at the same time, without sequencers etc. (Vangelis comes quickly to mind, Hans Zimmer also, I'm sure there are a lot more). The main problems with synchronously composing, performing and recording quality electronic music live and on the spot without sequencers are: a) you need serious cash to develop custom machines that allow you to do that the way you want. Vangelis has said that it would be impossible for him to reach that level without having been successful already due to the sheer costs, as opposed to an artist who plays an instrument or sings b) you need serious brains to compose something coherent on like 5 different instruments at the same time, while at the same time you're playing it and I mean serious brains. And I don't mean to diminish any musician or artist by (b). Anyone can do what they want and that's fine. Who cares if they record, or if they sequence? Don't listen to anyone, especially musical 'purists'. If you enjoy it it's fine. If you don't, listen to something else and that's fine too. Do you know that the primary use of tape loop effects before the late 60's was in the classical (yes, classical) music industry? Just listen to what you like. I hate artists like Carl Davis who say 'that's not art', or 'yeah but these are electronic sounds' and so on, and I'm not even an electronic music fan, and what you say is not very different from them. They are so shortsighted and narrow-minded that I can't help but feel sorry for them. Press play DJ's are fine too, who are you (or me) to judge. In the 50's they were saying the same for those ye-ye boys and telling your parents you wanted to do a career as a singer equalled telling them you want to be a whore.

As a former player/ user of synths, I wonder which one is used for the sequence line at the bed, but after, I recognize the Korg polysix ( or something similar) used for the arpeggio/ solo. I had some of the synths he has, but only at the same time, cause I was selling one for helping me to buy another one..! I must say he uses the analog synths in a very good way ..! ..continue the good job guy.!! Bravo...
