I drive and bartend/serve at a mom and pop shop and 5 dollars is a good tip fr. Doesn’t matter how big the house is.. sometimes I have driven 15 mins to a big old neighborhood in a town next door and have gotten less. So I guess there’s some factors but fuck that.. 5 is better than nothing!!

when i do doordash i always pay more cause i get gas is expensive but $5 tip for some pizza, that was probably pretty close by, is a crazy thing to complain about.

Do some research on minimum wage for jobs that encourage tipping before you criticize. Did you know that by giving customers an option to tip, employers can then pay their workers around 3x less than the minimum wage, its literally a federal law. The fact is you don't have to tip, thats why its an option, so for you to say it's "crazy" is crazy in itself. No one is forcing you to do anything. Also.. tipping is a global thing, not just a USA thing. Be less cringe.
