Honestly they can have the most advanced mechanics or the best heists ever coded on GTA but in the end it's the server culture and the people that will dictate the enjoyability of the server. Ngl early 4.0 it felt like for a second that things were going to be different to me but in the end it all resulted in the same thing because someone spread their legs to everyone for some virtual power that in the end they lost.

The way I see it is prodigy 2.0 released and took the majority on CG viewers with the release which is a large RP community so the 5.0 NP release it an attempt to bring them all back. I know it'll release and CG will go back to NP but I hope they come back to prodigy if it's another flop like 4.0 was and if the PD stays in massive power

4.0 for the public server felt good at first, but continued to feel lacking in content up till now, with mediocre updates each month that would have been fine if they continued to push them out, but instead they're now moving to 5.0 without even adding all the basic content we were able to do in 3.0 (house robberies, atm robberies, other civ jobs/activities etc). It's crazy because its also not enough time to feel like our characters lived long enough and all those hours of grinding in both RP and just for money will feel greatly wasted unlike in 3.0 since that lasted for at least a few years.

The beginning of 4.0 was great. After the first 2 months though. It was definitely a lot of ups and downs. Personally what made me lose interest in watching RP. Was the PP stuff. It was great at the beginning, but it was something that K shoulda only done like once or twice a week. Especially once cops started patrolling paleto all day everyday.

5.0 can't be made from the ground up because the base game is already scuffed and these parts are often unmoddable AKA hardcoded. As long as rockstar themselves don't overhaul, this will just continue in iterations. Just activity bait

I hope 5.0 will let people pay with their phones or a debit card. the way businesses were handled in 4.0 is just ... well.. a LOT of people quit, let's just say that. And the admins? crickets. They were busy meta gaming and hating on civilians and now Nino. And then we got Angel.... jees. after last week I gave up. Not watching that sh*tshow any more. You have gangs and a mayor that cares for the citys well being more than cops (if we even can call them that, walking Brady violators) and the "marshals" are just fanning the flames and stirring the pot while being biased and incompetent. As for Civs? .... according to any cop there are no civs, it's "crims who haven't got caught yet" and taking their "C-Card" is something the cops gloat with (examples; JJ & Mooseknuckles & Mr. K), we don't need RS or PC we just want to make you into a crim, what do you mean witness statements? what do you mean ask the clear victim what happened - its a crim now! And how many justices are left now? TWO. and one of them are on a leave due to personal IRL issues making it ONE. I really hope 5.0 brings back 3 day ban for meta gaming. they should also bring back suspension for taking OOC into the city making it IC. (again prime example: Angel with mary being the same. I don't know why people treating the game like "second life" is bad when you have toxic (and I mean toxic in the old way - destructive and unpleasant to be around) people running the show. And the cliques and the nepotism.... lspd, bsco, blaine mayors office, marshals.... yeah no.

it was fun for a couple months i played on a public server which was updated at the same time normally and every update ruined doing normal jobs every single week what ended it for me was the timer on doing groupe 6 like everyone in the beginning who had a squad and got the big truck already benefited from all the money and everyone else who doesn’t have a 10 man group is just screwed not fun and a lot of girls puting on a act to get power or ban people it’s just a weird community all around

Nopixil became an upsetting server its bad when some nonwhitelisted servers are better for example paradise roleplay has better rp and a real good staff team people being banned left and right for fail rp as a non whitelisted server not having to pay to play the server is also a plus and they are constantly adding stuff to make the rp entertaining

Nopixel lost a lot of their best devs imo and they made some bad decisions. I just don't see how another update is gonna change anything. All it will do is cause a slight surge in viewership that will die out within a week or two and thats it.

That's a good point and is exactly why a 5.0 could change quite a lot. I think it was Ravage(prodigy owner) that said that it is hard to onboard new coders because everything is so custom. So I wouldn't be surprised if they hired a group of coders and just had them start work on 5.0, months ago instead of trying to figure out how the old system worked. Maybe the day they unlocked the player cap 2 months ago was just a stress test to help them understand what kind of player numbers they could handle. Them splitting the counties in two is also probably another way to facilitate higher player numbers since there is only issues when there is too many people in the same area at one time. If most of their new devs were working on 5.0, that would explain why the updates and bugfixes were slow on 4.0. If they learn from thier mistakes it could improve Nopixel 5.0 a lot.
