Magnífico video navideño, con una Andrea Motis estelar, tanto en lo vocal como en lo escénico, demostrando que, además de una gran cantante y trompetista, podría ser una buena actriz (acabará haciendo sus pinitos en el cine o en televisión, al tiempo). Respecto a su voz, creo que ya ha acabado de madurar, se escucha más redonda y plena que hace un par de años. Al Kebyart Ensemble no lo conocía (mea culpa, mea culpa) me han parecido excelentes saxofonistas, una agradable sorpresa. Ya estoy suscrito a su canal. En cuanto a la realización artística del video, me ha gustado mucho, recuerda a los que se hacen para el intermedio televisivo de los Conciertos de Año Nuevo en Viena, nada menos: bonito, divertido, original y de exquisito gusto.

She did solo at 1:40 within the construct of this video. Of course every solo does not have to be a half-hour flurry of lines and stunts. Her solo was quite appropriate for the mellow style and nostalgic holiday blend required to function within the video's saxophone quartet/vocal format.

I know a lot of thought and effort went into the production of this video, but somehow I can't get super excited about it. I guess I just prefer the old-fashioned straight live performance, with room for a nice long solo from Andrea. But I appreciate the intent, the effort, and the sentiment. And judging from the comments, it sounds like most viewers do like the video, so that's good!

An outstanding writing, definitely! …in the meanwhile, yup, I think that a great arrangement sounds as a great arrangement, but this does not mean that it makes “Christmas” then. Christmas is light. The arrangement is beautiful, but sad. Too much.

In these times I allow for upbeat contrast, you've missed her point, she isn't just repeating words to an old song she is reflecting Christmas of the past where good tidings, and merriment and yes....brightness lived in our hearts. I love this bold freshness.
