Very nice you mentioned the other power amplifiers that sounded awesome with the Buchardt S400, it helps people. Good job, powerful product and statement from Keces!👍

Are you interested in trying Schiit Aegir monoblocks? They claim to have 10 watts of class A bias.

Great review Sandu! Your experience with a component shines through and therefore I feel your observations can be taken to the bank. The depth and thoroughness of your explanations contrast greatly with so many cursory online reviews. Keep well and thank you for your good work!

Big boy in the house! Simple powerful giant, no unnecessary design tricks , just mighty and potent. Class A is still the Queen!👍

Thank you the great review. In many ways you have been describing a power amplifier I own, even though your Keces S125 has more power. That said your description and comments on the sound makes me think about my Simaudio Celeste Reference Series W-4070 SE. Circa 1996 to 98, the first 5 watts are class A then switching to A/B. The W-4070 SE is rated @ 70 a side stereo 8ohm, 140 4ohm or 280 mono 8ohm, features a 750VA toroid with 98000 microfarads of capacitance. LOL by the way in about 1980 I went into a store that was running 70 watt pure class A mono blocks Belles Research model Belles A in the summer in a enclosed sound room, I still remember the room feeling about 100 degrees! it was cooler outside at maybe a measly 75.

Very nice review. I like the form factor in the look of it. I'm sure it sounds great. There definitely is a competitor though here in the United States. The Monoprice monolith 2x amplifier. It's a two channel 50 lbs Beast. Really it is made by ATI. They are 1100 here in the states. 200 watts into 8 ohms and 300w into 4 Ohms. I happened to get lucky as hell and snagged an open box unit for $500.

wow great review I always look forward to your new content. I appreciate the time you spend with these components to get a thorough review so it's not just a 1 week quick take.

thank you, some of these reviews take a much longer time to finish, S125 was that kind of unit.

Hey DAC Man..... Nice Nelson reference there.... Personally I'll Pass as I favour John Curl 👌🏻 as designer for my own Class A/AB power amp..... Another cool review of a solidly designed amp 👍🏻... Wonder what more the S300 brings to the table?

Hey Marcus, oh..John is a proper designer too (Parasound, Mark Levinson, Vendetta), one day I'll try some of his amps...As for S300, it might be doing a trip to my home, will see about that

Soundnews The unit I received was faulty. Constant signal loss for USB audio. Replacement on the way. Other than that, it sounds great.
