@@chrisholden615 Do you have a fave though? I've seen them as much as you and I enjoyed the 2nd Law gigs they did with the Andre The Giant Screens. Its the gig they did at the Rome Olympic Stadium. Although my first Muse gig was the most memorable in 2006.

You definitely need to watch them playing Knights Of Cydonia live at Rome Olympic Stadium, it's basically Muse's anthem and a fantastic piece of prog rock music, with the classic western vibes that mark Black Holes & Revelations. Plus, it's a BIG BIG concert the one in Rome, the crowd is unbelievable!

@@avagame2067 It was! That year I saw them in Turin Stadium in the summer and in Bologna Arena for the winter leg of the tour, stunningly beautiful! Probably their best and most successful world tour so far, but if you think about that, it was the tour for "The 2nd Law" album, which I think it's considered their weakest album by the fanbase (not for me, I loved the hell out of it!)

The thing about muse is every reaction channel labels a different song as their "anthem" song. They just have so many that fall into that category. Most bands are happy to have just one. Meanwhile Muse are out there with 10 or more of them.

Thanks for your reaction to this song! I have recorded the version they did on Sept 15 2019 at the O2 in London, but not sure if that is blocked. But as it was my last Muse gig before Covid and sh*t, I will always remember it: and I hope it was NOT the last time I abandoned them! Nice is when people go to Muse and expect them to be like a mellowy rock band and only know some certain songs from the radio, and then get treated by this mayhem. Everytime! So yes, you MUST see and hear them live. If you're not addicted yet, after a live gig I'm sure you are. Welcome to the Muse Universe! (so check their Metal Medley they did at the RAH on Dec 3 2018, but even better, just watch the whole gig). I can shower you with their most ever epic performances from 1999 to now, but important is that they still deliver, even after more than 20 years and man this upcoming festival Tour in Europe will be the starting playground again for the new album. I'd say, sign in early as tickets will be going very very very fast once they announce the actual tour.

I'm not sure if Matt Bellamy still holds the world record for most guitars smashed on a tour, something like 140 guitars. I've seen them trash a stage, it's mesmerising in a strange way. They don't do it much, if at all anymore, probably an age thing. Still amazing live and never fail to entertain.

Been to over 30 Muse concerts in the past 18 years. Last one, a week ago. Of course the experience is different now, but still more epic than most. Go see them live whenever you get the chance. In the meantime, YT suggestion: Knights of Cydonia in Rome, it's been their anthem for the past 15 years. They finish all their concerts with this song. Epic. Crowds go crazy 👌

Live-performances of „modern“ Muse (last 5-10 years) have gradually become more stylized, with an epic stage show and much more grandeur than earlier years. They use most of their earned money on production and it totally blows you off the feet. The era 2000-2005 was much more raw (or less refined) but came with more chaos and pure energy. Both eras have their merit and I love it all, best live-band I‘ve ever seen. Go and watch them on their next tour, you will kick yourself if you don‘t do it

All true, but I think it's important to emphasise that there is slight difference between their tour concerts and festival concerts. Both are great musically, but it's the tour concerts that can sweep you off your feet. I went to their gig in the Simulation Theory tour and I was speechless when I left the venue.

I was in the front row when Chris walked by, but a security guy was there blocking my view. I had to step away to get my heart rate down. Just based on sound alone, listening to Muse performing live is almost perfect, arguably even better than their studio recordings.
