Full access to front and back and your messing with glue tabs?..cool video though..I do really like the fact you don't burn the backside leaving the original corrosion protection...in tact..great for panels with no back access

Amazing video. Can I just ask, why did you take back down to metal? Isn't that the whole purpose of GPR? The filler you used i think can work on keyed paint work not damaging the zinc coating on the metal substrate. Thank you for the upload. Amazing work 👏

Ive done hundreds of dents over 25yrs with applying filler over basecoat and all other coating this mapping thing is bullshit ive experimented with it as long as you prep everything right and allow coating to cure fully

Why don't you use the factory paint to block over. If you have it close, many times you can finish it by blocking and priming afterwards. Even if it still needs a skim, doesn't 3M recommend skimming over factory paint? I am a PDR guy not a body man, I am asking...

You can apply filler over clear but not base coat. So if I was to break through the clear blocking, the base would cause my filler to do what we call “mapping” so instead of risking that I went ahead and removed the finish.
