Very informative video but there are some points missing if you can answer that will be helpful, 1- trek distance in total in km n hours, trek distance from starting to first camp sight 2- total number of days require to complete only trek 3- whom and how to contact for camping.

- 7kms till base camp, 11kms for the summit - depending on whether you are an average person with no experience, it will take you 2 days (without company), with company 3-4 DAYS - Indiahikes, hikersofindia, trekkers of himalaya etc etc

I would say, if anyone visiting or going for a trek at first time. Then, Indiahikes should be the choice. Because when you do trek you need food to keep you energetic. And finding the same on such trek is really hard. Along with this, setting up tent and choosing a place to visit is another a nightmare for a new person. But overall the cost of travel is increase. Also consider to buy some warm cloth and more important hiking shoes, spikes, gaiters for you. Because on summit temp was around -10 *C in first week of April.

Just a suggestion/request to all travel vloggers that either at start or at end they must say " do not litter in mountains or keep mountains clean , do not throw garbage enroute trek." Anything like this, to all since ppl plan their trip watching these vlogs, may be it can help

yes.. guide lekar jana chahiye... koi checkpost nahi hai guide k regarding but kyun risk uthana.. bina guide k risky hai trek upar summit k pass kaafi.. forest ranger ki fee pay karni hogi... khas nahi hoti aise hi 200-400 hogi

In normal summer days you can do kedarkantha in 1 day up and down and 2-3 days in winter where as 3-4 days needed for har ki dun summer/winter same

iska koi use nahi hai.. alag hi mehnat karke gear upar lekar jaoge.. water source hai nahi to kitna paani carry karoge sath mein...plus khana cook karna alag headache.. since koi natural shielding nahi hogi to wind itni tez hogi ki tumhara tent tutt jayega (assuming basic begginer level gear hai tumhare pass)... also agar galti se snowfall ho gaya to marne ka khatra bhi hai... is sabse achha option hai jo sab karte haim... base camp se early morning 4-5 baje trek start karo so that sunrise upar dekh sako

Yes you can do on your own but you'll have to hire a guide. Contact a guide in that area and ask him to arrange tents and other camping gear for you. If you still have any query drop a comment and I'll guide you through the process 😄

I dont think Roopkund is possible at that time. You'll find lot of snow. I would rather recommend some classic winter treks for that time

Planned it on my own. Reached sankri and found a guide. He charged 1000 rupees per day. We finished the trek in 3 days so paid him 3000 + some tip. Which was divided among 4 of us.

Govt. Bus k liye to railway station k pass hi bus stand hai vahan se. Private buses and alag stop hai hotels k pass. Exact location ka abhi nahi pata... Best hai Dehradun aate hi auto le lo...auto vale ko bol do ki govt. Bus stand jana hai ya private buses jahan milti hain... Vo sahi jagah drop kar dega... Maine bhi yahi kiya tha since subah 5 baje andhere mein khud dhundhna tough ho jayega
