I miss being around the Cajun folk's. I spent most of the 70's in the oil field, with a down-hole well logging co. We would often, either by chopper or a work-boat, leave for an offshore rig from various Louisiana ports. Great cajun friends were made, and we were introduced to some of the best food in this country. I even learned to enjoy chickory "coffee". If they liked you, you a a hell of a friend. If they didn't like you, you were quick to know it. That's how it should be. Be well everybody.

I am from just outside New Orleans, a place call Delacroix. My husband always thought I talked funny even though I had to learn how to speak "English" when I left home. He watched this and it was a trip. He kept asking me, "What did he say"? 😆
