Fun fact: when Argentina started its campaign to conquer Patagonia (the Conquest of the Desert, as it was called), the first phase ended right where you were, in the Rio Negro at Choele Choel, which marked a natural border between the natives in the south and Argentina to the north. In the following years the rest of Patagonia south of the Rio Negro would be conquered as well.

9:25 those araucaria trees are living fossil. You are seeing the forest and landscape exactly as the dinosaurs saw it, 60 million years ago.
