The part leading up to 16:14 is great! Unlike most tourists, I like going off the beaten path in Amsterdam and also seeing the rest of the country. I loved watching the children play in the playground and was amazed when you rounded the corner and that big ship came steaming through! Is that the Amstel and if so where?

Thank you for this and all your walking tour videos. They are ideal for arm-chair tourism. This is low-stress, low-impact tourism. I noted the unusual amount of trash in the streets. Research shows there was a union issue taking place at the time. Amsterdam is usual pristine clean.

well dear, it was likely garbage collecting day in this neighbourhood. as you may have notices the garbage started as of the 53rd mintute........................

Research proved there was an union issue at the time and collection had not taken place within that time period. My dear, the trash usually doesn't remain out long enough to be scattered about the walks and streets in Amsterdam. My comment carries no intention of taking anything away from Amsterdam just a statement regarding a civic issue that took place at that time lest other video viewers wondered about it. Cheers. :)
