One of the best ever live performances. I remember watching on TV on the night of the performance and I was completely dumbstruck. I just sat there speechless, staring at the screen. Goosebumps all over my body.

I was in the crowd. It was beyond anything id witnessed him perform like before. He makes that Gibson SG have it. Dont so much relate to him now but hes still a class live artist. No argument there. The band are one incredible unit.

If one of your kids ask you why Weller received the god like genius award, well you start them off with this video...i came to love Weller in his early Council days and i thought he reached his peak then, but this is on another level, no way to describe this man's talent and versatility

Then take them to kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3iUZmCdlNmanNE to see yet another amazing performance
@MackDonald4 жыл бұрын
@@donovanvaz3289 Indeed! I love how the intensity builds throughout the song and explodes with the instrumental. I still have this on VHS somewhere. Traded some Lewis Taylor mixtapes with someone in the UK when I was on the Splinters mailing list. I used to wear out this whole concert, especially this tune and Out of The Sinking.

The guy is just pure class. No disrespect to Oasis or Noel Gallagher or Liam Gallagher. But these guys are not in his class or league
@callumdrysdale6751 Жыл бұрын
You are so correct with that statement. He has went up another level with his solo work. The man is pure class and no disrespect to the new guys like Noel Gallagher, they are just not in his league

Paul's magnum opus I think. He doesn't know me but we grew up together - kind of, and its been so inspiring having him around through my life. I always think the great entertainers make life bearable for the workers and I hope they appreciate that.
