Absolutely love my Keeley Caverns, such a quality pedal. I remember a while back seeing a vid where Robert made a distinction between compressors for that country sound vs. more tapping math-rocky stuff. So it sounds like this pedal can do the latter? Compressors are such a mystic thing to me.

I wish you’d done a total bypass sound as well. To me there’s a horrible scratchy topend in all of the sound. If the pedal is adding this I wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole. If it isn’t I suggest you mic the amp differently as it’s ugly bite in the topend.

I bought one of these arrived today, it went right back. It changes the tone so much it is not useable. Nothing wrong with the tone, but it is not the tone I have for my Gretsch with nice TVR classic pups on it that have all the highs I need. The Aria compressor just added even more top and the tone control was all the way to the left, it was still way too toppy. Just so you know there are lots of similar comments on the user sites. My setup that is stereo Mesa Filmore and Hotrod deluxe through a G3 Atom, not crap gear it was not what I would call a transparent pedal. The drive side sounded fine, the compressor side not so good.
