Best demo yet. All the other reviews has so much overplaying you can’t really hear what the pedal is doing (even worse, some are looping or playing over backing tracks). Anyway, thanks for understanding what a pedal demo should be.

Probably the best demo I've seen out of many!!! One question: can I use an expression pedal to control the amount of the effect, i.e., blend of the original signal vs. The effect? Thanks again for the great demo!

Thank you, I really appreciate it! You can control the delay level with the expression but not the dry level. You can assign the range, too! Here’s what the manual says: “You can set multiple parameters at once to be controlled with your expression pedal. You can set partial ranges, reassign ranges, or even reverse heel/toe positions in this mode.”

Mannnn I would have bought this if the Infinite Hold was locking. I use a DOD DFX9 for looping with its Infinite Repeat setting and it’s impossible to find other delay pedals that do the Ibanez DM2000 hold function.

Great suggestion! I'll look into it. (part of the "problem is" latching to do the infinite hold thing...or is it that you want to go to preset B? - so it would still be one of those.."hold for a second to latch.... at best....)

@@RobertKeeleyTV no I’m simply after literally the DM2000 hold function - you let the delay decay to wherever it sits well, and then Hold. I bought a DM1100 but I’d rather have it on a pedal! I have an Eventide Rose which does that too but that thing is a damn Pandora’s box to program. We just want knobs man! Just a clean digital delay with a Hold! That’s it! I have a guy rehouse my DOD’s so that I can turn the effect on and off as well as open and close the loop. He builds in a bypass switch.

I just wish it had a tape warble wow and flutter control. Saturation dirties it up but not in a good way - it just seems to add noise. It's a cool pedal but a bit too hi-fi for my needs

The Saturate knob goes from the mild compression to a fully saturated sound, so yes it can add noise in the extreme, but not necessarily. The Rate and Depth act as the perfect wow and flutter controls. Our modulation is really tape-smooth in my opinion.

Hi there! I went to Thomann and it showed the Strymon V2 @ 369 pounds and the Keeley Halo at 299 pounds. The Keeley is a poor man's strymen.

Thanks for the great demo. I have a question about the presets. Do they have a separate tempo? Or in simpler terms, if I'm playing a song that I want to use two presets for, do I have to tap in the tempo for each preset separately? Also how sturdy/reliable is the FDBK or ALT switch?

Thanks! Yes the delay time is saved with the preset so when you change presets the delay time will be that of the selected preset. FDBK knob/button feels reliable enough in my opinion. It’s the same one used on Eccos and Hydra and they’ve been around for quite some time. I haven’t had or heard any complaints. I wouldn’t press on it with my foot, though.

@@Lynx33PL The push-to-activate FDBK knob/switch has been remarkably reliable over the past 5 years. In fact, the number of failures is almost unmeasurable. Tap Tempo is not universal over all 8 preset sounds. Each preset keeps the tempo you save for live use. Thanks for asking!
