I think the added stamping takes away from the focal image but if a mistake needs to be covered up then this is an option.

Tiffany H I think you may be right. I go back and forth over which one I prefer but I usually lean towards "less busy" cards in general. For the customer with the ink smudge, she liked it so much she repeated it on the 2nd card that didn't have a mistake to cover up.

That's a lovely card - and your "fix" idea is fabulous! I often get an extra ink smudge on my piece and have to come up with ways to hide them (oops!)

Thank you Cynthia! I usually will stamp an image, cut it out and pop it up over the mistake. I went through a "silver butterfly" phase and used that to cover up the slightest mistake :-)

Love both of the cards, they are both beautiful and I always seem to get some goof on my cards - so good to see an option to cover it. (I didn't see any real goof on the 2nd one - usually mine are real visible). I said when the grunge stamp set came out that I already get marks like that on my projects, but later decided I need it in my "collection" even though I haven't used it.

Couple questions you use the ink then you put the embossing powder then due you use your heat gun then you paint it

Hey Jan, stamp the image in Versamark, emboss with White or Clear embossing powder, sponge inks across the top of the embossed image and rest of cardstock :-)

Use smaller acrylic blocks closer to size of each stamp.

Very pretty. I actually prefer the second version with the stamped leaves. It gives more of a contrast between the white embossed image and the background. But both are very pretty.
