Hey Pat nice contraption of the Y pipe fitting on your pressure hose for a blaster nozzle attachment. Exactly what I was looking to put on my 2” dredge for dredging on the dry river banks. Sorta like a hydro force nozzle or a dry lander nozzle. I put in a order for a few more things today to switch my power jet to a traditional suction nozzle for better results in shallow water. Hi Mark and Pat, in the 3 videos about your new A52S backpack dredge highbanker you have omitted providing a link to where people can purchase it, and also a date for when it will be available for purchase. Hopefully this is intentional and this is an R&D video for a product that will be out in the near future - with no specific promise of a date (for all sorts of reasons). If the product is for sale now you should probably include a purchase link in all 3 videos. Slick setup though, and great to see your continued innovation to push placer mining forward. to be honest I watch a lot of videos and yes they use other products but the majority of what they use is the keene product ,pans ,classifiers,sluice boxes once you check out the show room you notice they all have your product so you're not making many mistakes if they ALL buy your product they only way you could make the A52 sluice better is if you win one at the monthly meeting and some one gave you the winning ticket I got my A52 for free you know what to say now (let's put the sluice to use) have a good day

Gentlemen, the video is getting better. Thank you for showing the pump priming. If you could cut down on some of the banter towards the end of the video and splice in digital pics of the pan results would be awesome. The end product plugging is cool (so leave that in) for example video on results see "pioneer paulie" and " Dan Hurd Prospecting". Added entertainment = higher viewership. Side note I'm looking forward to ordering the sluice flapper some day. ( is there a way you can make it top mount, spring loaded pins from the outside flapper mount, so it can act as an upper top handle for the sluice, and at home we only have to drill 2 holes).

Dillon, I do appreciate your comments. I was wondering what people thought about our discussions. Most people would go out and have a video with some sort of formate Patrick and I are just out there winging it, we are just trying to document what we think and share our experiences. I wish I had someone to help with the editing however I am stuck here after hours putting it together. I do appreciate your comments and recommendations. Did I mention we have fun going out testing!!! My brother pat is heading up to his mining claim in the next few weeks and I hope he will document his trip. We all get together from time to time have a few beers and dream about dredging on Patrick mining claim on the finny hole next to Downieville. The largest gold nugget in the USA was found there something like 440 pounds. There is a hole that is probably 60 feet deep and giant boulders on the bottom, if we could get to the bottom there could be hundreds of ounces possible pounds. Sorry I get carried away some times.

I have to disagree, the hopper is essential. It helps t break up the clays and material, captures some of the gold on the Mirikal matting providing an indicator if you are in gold or not. The grizzly bars provide classification for the material and give additional time for the rocks to be washed clean. Most of the time you do have to scrap the rock off by hand depending on the type of material you are in. When using a 2200 Gallon per Hour battery powered pump you have to maximize the water flows and washing the oversized material off the grizzly would wast water and not work as well if you are recirculating the water.
