This video is about our annual Yuba River Trip. We just want to share our mining experience using small scale mining equipment and techniques. We had a blast making this video and found some good gold too.

Great fun Pat!! I use my mini max with the tween pumps as well. The gas pump that came with the sluice blow the seal out of the back of the pump. The tween pumps puts out lots of water and will catch lots of fine gold.

Is the Yuba 12 volt only? What about gas engines?

Is it legit to run the equipment that close to the water? Our local Southern California organization talks about 200 ft away from the river, the water cannot enter the river/creek, and having to pay $1,100 permit in order to pump the water. Are these rules based on large mining organizations, or do the laws apply small mining organizations. I'm just asking because different people have a different concept of the laws. Thank you.
