Just a random thought, but it could be very possible that at the end of the season we face a hunter that's be stalking Kelso and when we take them down, their mask ends up being the missing spot on the wall in Haven.

I agree. The hunter also needs what’s in the box. But needs the 2 factor authentication also which is both Faye and keeners watch. So the hunter is playing both Kelso and agents into accessing the box. The key could be the back door to the 3 AI systems which the hunters use. So it recognized Faye(Cassandra) watch when she walked in but the other piece now it’s the keener watch which we have and both need to be in close proximity to activate the 2 factor authentication .

Faye and Kelso know our ISAC comms are bugged by the Tusk and Cal. That’s the reason for secrecy. Birdie warned her brother about it during the last manhunt. Also, descent’s comms has the clues as well. “Who brought you here.” -Manny “One of you guys. You know the agent that looks like a park ranger.” -Birdie ANNA is our secret way to fight back if we shut up about the important things on ISAC. Kenner and Theo are the heroes of the story for finding ANNA. The rocket was most likely going to Camp White Oak to kill Cal and Nat. 😊

ISAC comms aren't bugged, they decided to shove all the intel into the cloud to save money on servers. In the manhunts we also collect comms that only Anna would have access to which indicates Anna isn't safe either. On the plus side it's likely the BT's intel is similarly unsafe and now that we know how bad security is we can start working to secure it.

@@jack727dave5 Ok. How can Nat talk to Manny multiple times during these manhunts including the last manhunt, if it isn’t bugged or highly compromised? How can we hear Nat and the Tusk giving commands over ISAC? We haven’t seen Nat physically in a mission yet, except cutscenes. Cal has already had the Ortiz to connect all communication for him to monitor without Nat knowledge. This is exactly how the hunters and other enemies know where we are at all times. I get the ANNA angle, but it’s not the main system being used. At the moment, there’s little evidence that they are aware of ANNA being used by us. Both, Cal and Nat hates ANNA and Nat dislike ISAC talking through the warhounds. Also, Claire Ortiz and Vivian (dead) appears to have a rift with the rest of the group. Maybe, Claire wouldn’t report this to prove a point about ANNA being superior, since she never destroyed it and hid it within ISAC. Only way it could be found if someone hacked into it to find ANNA. (Theo) If it’s ego or outright betrayal, then we don’t know Claire’s motives right now in the present versus pre virus days. NSA chick confessed to Viv about being able to prevent the outbreak. Wouldn’t be shocked if Viv told Claire. We have multiple big servers in dc. The White House, Jefferson Trade (invaded 3 times to shut it down), and the bunker mission. Servers are required to used cloud storage.

The Division's way of shooting first and asking questions later truly ruined a lot of people's plans. Bardon, keener, Fae. Pretty much all of their plans got interrupted by the division. And somehow majority of the times, it worked out against us.

Maybe the box contains the meds needed to wake Schaffer up. Hahaha! In all seriousness, Faye was being recruited not as BT double agent, but a Hunter double agent, and her inside person was Schaffer not Viper. Viper was her vouch, not handler. Thats why it was so important that Schaffer survive- he's the holder of all the info that they couldn't broadcast on tapped comms. Leaving behind notes and messages with all their plans for anyone to find is reckless, but having a live contact that you can interview offline is safer. I dont think Schaffer is the unknown presence, but is likely another hunter.

That is the reason why I love division. I never got into author Tom Clancy's books. But the world around division is something else. My theory is that the person following Kelso. Could some other agent be a hunter or a hunter betraying the program? Or could this be our original agent from Division 1, that being way out of the left field.

Hunters in general (besides recruiter) have 2 big advantages: 1) The long EMP pulse 2) The ability to take over enemy skills or outright disabling them for the duration of the fight. If we count recruiter, then we also get the immunity drone on the list. I think Keener had found a way around 1 or more of those obstacles to make it a fair fight against the hunters and we will eventually get it either DURING the final mission for this Kelso investigation, or AFTER we finish it all. It will likely be a pulse skill with limited range and can only hack so many enemy skills to make it fair for PvE/P.

In one of the Black Tusk broadcast side missions Nat claims that she doesn't have the tech for an invincibility suit. And here we are looking at a shadowy figure at one of the settlements and Nat being told that the asset is in place after we it's shown that she is watching Manny at thr settlement

Super awesome that they are further fleshing out previous characters. While I do think they did a great job with the characters, there's a lot of them that I wished would have gotten more spotlight / more details story wise, but now that they're quite literally doing this with all the new stuff they're adding. Love your lore videos ngn. Always top notch. I'm loving this seasons story. I mean was a bit slow and o do think you're right about the whole benefit thing. I believe this is where keener will find out what cal and nat are up to and again will explain all his erratic behaviour in his final moments. Wouldn't be surprised if cal actually tried to recruit keener for his hunter program. I too am confused about Fayes importance in the mission. Looking forward to the conclusion of this story. On a side note with everything he knew ... like someone said in the comments it's easily explained why cal nat the black tusk was so desperate to get rid of him if only he couldve told us. I am more then certain that his missle was targeted for black tusk. As for the person whose following her could be a hunter but I still can't shake april keheller either. Well find out in a couple of weeks.

The person following Kelso is probably Bridgette Douglas aka Viper .Got a feeling she's not really dead , sort of like what happened with Hornet. Now as far as Keener goes ,yes he was right about the government corruption but he's no hero. He's a master of manipulation and deception. Him not going after the division wasn't honorable, he just didn't see us as a threat..The eclipse missile was most likely targeting the black tusk/hunters, not for the greater good of mankind but for the greater good of Aaron Keener. With them out of the picture he could do what he wanted whenever he wanted and nobody could stop him. The attack on Castle Clinton was against innocent people and was meant to serve as a warning. Anyway i've rambled on to long. Keep up the great work brother 😎

That first bounty, I got completed bent over by RNG, I had the last HVT, a normal open world patrol and a Quadcopter call decide to target me. I am now wondering if Keener isn't actually dead, because we never saw an agent check for an actual pulse, we saw theo mess with Issac as well and there was a bit of time where he could of injected himself with a drug which knock him out making it seem like he died

I have been wonder if the unidentified character on both clips are foreshadowing (no pun intended) the return of Charlotte Clark. She was featured in the "Calling the Other Side" comms in Div 1. Someone who has been hiding in the DZ, tapped in to the SHD comms, helping agents from both sides. Because of that, she potentially caught wind of what Keener was planning, and perhaps wants to see it through. Now that the plan has is in jeopardy with the death of Faye, it perhaps forces her hand. (Or perhaps she just wants to keep it out of Black Tusk's reach) But she can't even touch it, since the 2FA may require both Keener's and Faye's watch. Clark slipped Kelso the watch which will lead her to the box, trusting that it will incapacitate her, and giving Clark access to Faye's watch. (Clark probably got zapped beforehand, so she knows she can use that "feature" as a trap) So now, all she has to do is to wait us to follow the breadcrumbs and bring her Keener's watch. Hopefully, we will not be fighting her (or Kelso for that matter). Instead, we just team up to fight the BTSU. A big hole in this theory is why didn't she just come out and impressed upon us the urgency and how this is the right thing to do? Maybe she is afraid she will end up get shot, because she is rogue after all (she has been hiding in the DZ all these years dodging Agents, Rogues, and Hunters)? Or perhaps talking to us will lead to Nat find out, since she is tapped into everything? But BTSU is already closing in, so that should not matter... [EDIT: maybe this is something that will bring down all three AIs? So that is potentially why the Nat is so keen on stopping Keener in the first place?] Anyways, just having fun theory crafting, don't have any shred of evidence to back this up.

There was the LMB mission where we got a hold of their entire database and communications, and i remember faye telling us that we have everything that the LMB was up to and " we don’t know what we don't know " this is why she did what she did. 🤔 I don't think that she is dead 💀. Oh, one more thing the LMB was supported by the black tusks 🤔

The key definitely is our watch and faye’s. Makes sense. There looks to be two slots for watches. Kelso was talking a lot about us having the key. So she has one we have the other that is why she needs us apart from potentially saving her life.

Would be funny, if Kelso was involved in hunter program. For example she went looking for the box to destroy evidences, but was not able to break the verification. We know, that Hornet returned from grave, so what if someone else is guarding this box? Faye was double agent in SHD favour, Kelso could be the same for for someone other (like she lost/damaged her watch during outcasts shootout from the DC content or retreated during Keener take out during Liberty Island mission. Ofc those are only my thoughts, I like sometimes to do "what if..."

Even if Keener was right about the Black Tusk and hunters, he still made a bioweapon and had several operations intended for widespread disputation (Missile, giving it to the outcasts, and infiltrating one of the only trade arteries left). He captured people for Kajika to butcher and there is no way the drill operation to destroy the main civilian settlement in upper NY went under his radar. Then he's also working with organizations like the Rikers and the Cleaners and who can forget his first alliance with the LMB. He saved like 4 people, I'm sure it's a comfort to the mountain of bodies he stepped over to reach that point.

sad that keener didn't focus more on the hunters and black tusk, although keener knew of the existence of the hunters to me it feels like he never really made any significant moves to deal with them

My head cannon was just that the hunters never really went after keener because they couldn’t find him. But it is weird how they’re supposed to go after rouge agents and never bothered to kill Kajika, Dragov, Theo or Vivian as they were very well announced. The only ones that would be hard to find are kajika and keener lore wise, all the others should’ve been easy to find.

@@jack727dave5 I feel like Theo would’ve been easier to find compared to Kajika. Kajika was really only exposed to our agent because he was working with keener. Other than that he basically a ghost. I also find it strange how our character took out keener’s entire rouge cell but the hunter’s didn’t do anything about it. Then again Keener did say they had a “hunter problem” so hopefully they go further into that lore down the line.

@@zorro8027 At the time Cal was interested in discrediting the Division so letting a few ex Division warlords run around fits his strategy. By the time everyone was aware they were working with Keener the DC agents were already on route so maybe they just decided to let them fight it out.

I agree but I also think the reasons why cal didn't send his hunters out for keeners rogues was that he knew us aka the sheriff would end up getting them instead. So he let us finish the job rather then risk his hunters which at the time of warlords I imagine only like ten twelve hunters at his disposal 🤔. Just hope we end up fighting a hunter and hopefully that inside the chest is a way to combat them cuz lore wise we are very much outgunned by them lol 😆

There is SO MUCH MEAT this time around. In previous seasons they've looked to either lead us down the garden path about what was happening, a la Stovepipe, or lead us by the nose to what was evident from the beginning, who the recruiter was. This part of the season seems far more focused on throwing out an absolute metric ton of information which gets everyone interested, but is more blurry about what is actually relevant to the plot and the solution. It is interesting that Bridgette Douglas and Major Xander from the True Sons were in a relationship, because Xander was the one torturing civilians that she captured in the DC area during the Captain Lewis season - she was one of his lieutenants even though she had a higher rank - which still makes zero sense. Her mission was the DUA takeover. It just doesn't seem to gel with what Keener, and we assume, his rogues were trying to do. But maybe that's why they broke up. Interesting that Douglas was never activated as a Division agent. I hadn't realized that, although it makes sense given that she continued to be part of the Black Tusk. I guess I consider her one of Keener's rogues given how much she was collaborating with him, even if she had only been recruited as an agent. But that also begs the question of how long she'd last in BT anyway given that she was working with Keener against Nat. What we know, more from the books than from the game, is that Nat is a dictator of the first rank, and anyone that goes against her just disappears. But, somehow, she'd been one of the first BT recruits and remained active long after it would have seemed possible to continue. Which means that she'd have to have been using some of Keener's tech to stay ahead of BT because, like ISAC, Diamond can monitor what's happening around it. This means that any conversations she had with people would have to be blocked by ANNA. And I didn't realize that could happen unless the watch was active. Also, according to the biography of Major Xander, when Viper tried to recruit her to help Faye she objected and ended up telling General Anderson about what was happening - information that was then passed to Nat. I think Faye may already have been dead by that point, timeline wise, or at least it was about the time that we were taking Faye down, so maybe that's the only reason that Viper and Faye weren't disappeared by Nat. It's a bit hazy from the timeline perspective though as to when all that played out. Either way, Xander had to have known that going to Anderson could well mean that her ex would just vanish. Then again, she likes to torture people, so maybe it wasn't a big deal for her. Still think it's probably Viper that's still around, she's featured too much in comms and story for someone that was more of a bit part in the Faye Lau manhunt, but that could just be misdirection. It's not Faye for sure, and it's not Keener - we know they're both dead. Maybe it's Mack and she's been a secret division recruit all along wearing a bracelet that conceals her watch? You never know in this place. Not sure how that would give her nine lives, but there has to be more to her than just some rich kid who run a commune for a while. Anyway, thanks as always, mate. 1. The reason Captain Lewis is higher ranked than Major Xander is because he was a Coast Guard Captain. Navy/Coast Guard Captains are equivalent to a Army Colonel. 2. The reason why Viper was never activated as a Agent is because there is a distinct possibility that she is a undercover Hunter. My only evidence is McManus own words about having his own people embedded in Black Tusk. 3. Viper is dead. We killed her at the start of Season 4 "End of Watch".

@@shdghost8872 Lewis was in the Coast Guard, yes. Although there doesn't seem to be any mention of his rank. Just that he was in Coast Guard search and rescue. All that the game seems to say is that he was a True Sons Captain, most likely coming from his position in the Kentucky National Guard. That said, if he did make Captain in the Coast Guard, I agree that's the equivalent to a Colonel in the Army, Air Force, or Marines. It's just weird that he'd be toting an AR and be friends with Manny who obviously is not that sort of rank. But Manny is/was buds with Lewis from his JTF unit before they defected and became the True Sons. Lewis is also young for that rank, especially given that he left the Coast Guard to become a farmer, where he joined the Kentucky National Guard, and only returned to the Coast Guard after his wife had an affair. Given that Keener claims, in this part of the season comms, he was targeting Hunters and was working with Viper to recruit Faye to help with that, it seems highly unlikely that she is a Hunter. Given how much Keener seems to know I doubt he'd have been that badly compromised. And yes, I know Viper is supposed to be dead. But Kelso described the person following her as having nine lives so my speculation is that she isn't really dead. I mean, if people can keep thinking that Faye is still alive, or that Keener is still alive despite the evidence to the contrary, I figure it can't be that far out there to speculate that Viper is still alive. 🤷‍♂

I still say it’s April Kelleher who has been following Kelso. April met with Keener in the DZ in the first game. My theory he trains her up and she becomes his secret apprentice and only brings her out when needed. Thus why we are seeing her now.

I've been really happy with this seasons story so far. It was disheartening when they turned Keener in too just another big bad type boss, then doing the same to Faye & looking like they where hinting Kelso was as well it was starting to look lazy. Showing he had more of a plan then "lol big boom" is very welcome.

fair enought, game play wise its kinda just 2 control points and 3 bounties every couple weeks so not wanting to play every time something happens is reasonable but I just love the story and the way NGN presents it so cant stop watching these even tho I am still playing
