3rd Rock from the Sun was a great show. John Lithgow was a force of nature. The supporting cast was actually great in my opinion. The show might have gone downhill in later years but the first few seasons were some of the best television. Not to mention the fact that almost every episode name had "Dick" in it.

Brandon Sanderson is such a bizarre combination of boring tropey slog and decent original ideas. I think his problem is that he's pretty bad at writing character driven narrative, and sticks to rigid outlines and just kind of forces his characters through those outlines. And on the subject, I blame him for the crop of fantasy fans that complain about any setting whose magic isn't a system of rigid rules, because they have to compare literally anything to Mistborn. Sometimes I want my magic vague mysterious and subtle, damn it, not everything needs to be fantasy-science.

I prefer watching you playing actual good levels vs suoer expert. It sucks in mm2, was a lot better in mm1. I really Like the worlds too. Short playable levels.

Same, although it can get boring when you watch several people who all play the same handful of levels since they all follow the same makers. Super Expert is trash but at least it's fresh trash. Everything in this video was new to me though and arguably it's often still better to watch an amazing level twice than two terrible levels anyway.

Barb you talkin about not having a release dat on GPW3 makes so much sense. never rush something you love doing cause it usually affect the final product in a bad way, rushed- unpolished -JANK. but then it hit me.. my all-time favorite game is Super smash bros. Melee; the epitome of a rushed game >.< dont take this the wrong way just thought of it and wanted to share :p

You can definitely achieve greatness under pressure, but that's obviously not how it usually goes down. You should check out some Wha Happun? videos if you haven't already, they cover videogame trainwrecks and I swear 99% of the time the entire problem was "someone set a deadline and refused to budge on it even when things were clearly far from finished." It's entertaining but also sad to see how many good game ideas failed due to poor management. But yeah, obviously one of the advantages of being a completely independent romhack designer like Barb is that he can set his own schedule and never has to commit to anything until the product is actually finished.

Barb, you announced GPW3 waaay too soon. You are already annoyed by people's excitement over it. I love your content normally, but this is annoying me. People are going to want details between now and when you release the game (which is not for a "long time" as you say). GPW and GPW2 were designed astonishingly well, still blows me away, and you have incredible talent for it. You do the whole SMW speedrun community a massive favor by providing hundreds of thousands of hours of video where speedrunners can show off extraordinary skill. Speedrunners should be very grateful, as I'm sure they are. You need to keep a schedule on your work (if only because you announced GPW3 waaay too soon) and stay on schedule. I would make that schedule available to the public with some form of update occasionally. I hope this makes sense to you. Maybe you'll see these comments you feel as intrusive not show themselves so much. I'm trying to help you here.

+Phaleel He streams his Level Making in Lunar Magic all the Time, and when you watch those Streams you will automatically be updated, how much levels he has finished so far. If he has a new Idea for an upcoming one etc etc. So i don't see why you're asking for a Schedule and Updates. Also considering "Schedule". Barb has a tight Schedule for his Streaming already which he always sticks to meticulously. If he would create a Schedule for when he does what for GPW3, it would be very stressful and annoying, if i was him i wouldn't do that either. Just check out his Lunar Magic Streams and just watch, read Chat and listen, you get all the Updates you need that way. No need to ask Barb to do even more than he already does.
