I Love this song; it reminds me of one of my sister's in Christ who went on to be with her Lord...we use to sit and practice Navajo Gospel song's, she was teaching me to pronounce the words since they are so difficult, I really miss her but Thank God for your postings with the lyrics, it helps us urban Navajo's stay in touch with our language. I'm still learning! And I will Keep on Believing in the Lord till I get to be with Him and my Loved ones in Heaven. "Trust the Lord with all your heart"

Whether or not you believe Him, He exists. Besides, I'm not afraid to die. I know this for a fact. I was in a near plane crash & knew that if I died Heaven was waiting for me.

I want to learn a Native American language, but living in the UK, there aren't many Native Americans around here (well my friend is part Native American, but she doesn't speak the language of any tribe). BTW, have you heard of the film the Rainbow Boy? It's all in Navajo, but it's new so I haven't seen it.

Gift Ancient Healing Story: first person. I live in Eastern Europe in the mountains. I am a male, I like to hunt and know too that I am also hunted by animals. I love to run in the mountains it makes me feel Free! I was running one day in the mountains, a trail I have never been on before. I see a large beige rock on my left I am going to run right past it fast. I do and...I suddenly realize I am falling through the air. I see the cliff has a stone shelf on it.... I try to move so I can fall on the stone. I hit it badly. I have twisted my leg to land on the rock, instead of fall 60 feet down to my death. But I heard a break of my left femur as it came through my skin. It has a lot of stinging crying and blood spraying into my eyes. I lay on my back rocking back and forth holding my broken leg. I look up for a way to drag my body up the cliff. Blinding pain fills me. Nothing no way to climb up again. No souls that will miss me. Nobody to tell my story. So much pain. I crawl to the edge of the stone to look down. Oh I am so frightened. Long way down. I think the honest truth this pain suffering is so bad I half think....jumping to my death. Unthinkable thought. I love myself. Oh in my hour of need the blinding throbbing pain keeps my mind from praying and relaxing. Then I hear my Soul. My soul asks me if it can help. I say Yes, please Yes help me I say. My soul moves from my body out into the air and turns around and looks at me. I see me with my leg bone sticking out blood spraying everywhere. My soul moves up to the stone and turns around to look at it. Then down the trail and turns to vision everything. Now back to a place I was three or more days before. I think I see my soul coming to me. That is odd. Then my soul showed me visions. The last of them me dying hurt on a cliff. Huh? I get quiet and think. Soon I forget the vision. Now I happy running on a new trail...then it looks like I know this way? Then I realize it is from my visions. I think oh terrors it is a cliff behind a large rock. No way. I keep running then I see the rock!!!! I stop before the rock and crawl to around it hugging the ground terrified. I look over the cliff, I see the stone shelf...but I am not dying on it. It is REAL !!! I crawl on the ground back away from the cliff and check my body....it is OK. I then close my eyes, and get quiet and pray. Thanks to my Soul. Thanks to the beings who taught my soul to fly, the brings who cared about me and taught me to be quiet and listen..... I thank all souls who taught me to meditate, and relax. Thanks for my soul coming back to save me. I went running down the trail thinking. I am Free. Now think today how many people can go back in time before they got sick on alcohol, or cigarettes, or drugs even before they got AIDS. Time will tell. _ ( ) _ This is a very old story before the Buddhas carved in the mountains, before the spice trails, before the Vikings, before the herds or horde of humans went south to cover the Earth. So nobody has to be sick, or hurt or dead even. Pray, meditate, and practice using your souls....and True Healing happens.

I agree with iewiehhw.... Most Native Americans didn't even beleive in a god. The Sioux certainly didn't (they had the great spirit though)... I think GOD is merely an addition brought by the white Christians. he Aztecs were falsely accused of being polytheist when in reality they were merely atheist (I speak Nahuatl so i should know ;) ) Th ONLY Native American groups that probably already had a god were the Inca and Cherokee as far as I know.
