this is from before my time but i enjoy the originality in the 50's-70's. looking at this helps me understand my parents more. if i have children someday, maybe they'll look back at the 80's and 90's to enjoy the great music of my generation :).
Hey I love this song. I went to their Concert - Monday 6 Dec 1976 at Festival Hall, Melbourne. I still have the ticket stub I was only 8 at the time. I remember it being crazy!

BCR is so amazing. Great song well done and this band is awesome. My fave and also was an inspiration to the Ramones, my other fave. This band was ripped off by their manager and record label and never truly got the recognition they deserved. Original look, style and attitude, and no other like them before. Their covers and original music was great and still is.

children, children-play nicely !!! this was a boys band from the 70s -regardless of what they wore ,it was all a hype ( still is allover ) this is how they were manufactured,they made a lot of money which was looted by an unscrupuluos manager,and various members have not had an easy time either ,with child molestation charges,bankruptcy,feuds etc -but they gave a lot of pleasure and joy -breathing space eh ? xx

I was fourteen when this song was in the charts and I went around wearing denims similar to theirs and spent hours sewing all the tartan bits on the hems of my jeans and cuffs and collar of my denim jacket. Scarey to know that Derek Longmuir, the drummer was prosecuted for posession of child pornography in March 2000 !! Les was my favourite tho, and I still go weak at the knees when I see him as he is now. Sad innit !! lol
@jennymccombie9604 Жыл бұрын
Tam set up poor Derek because he and the rest of the guys were asking too many questions about the missing money he ripped off of them . Apparently you don't take a threat from Tam lightly. Derek is a good man who was set up .Did you read the court documents? I did . Several times. Maybe you should try reading them before you spread a bunch of lies ?

Hi, Thanks for the comment. Obviously only my opinion of course, based on the fact that I saw their 1st ever live performance round about 1967, then saw them on TOTP (still with Nobby) approx 1972. He left shortly after after a 'disagreement' with Tam Paton. Sorry if I may be a little biaised against Les, he was at the same school as me! But seriously, I did prefer the original, although 'Bye Bye Baby' is actually my favourite song.
