Finally someone else that rocks the Gypsy Water! But now which do you prefer, the EDP or EDC? Personally I like the scent of the EDC better but obviously it takes a huge hit to an already poor bit of performance. Keep it up man!

Since I only own a total of 24 fragrances right now, of which 14 are niche I will keep it down to five that I would keep for life (in no particular order): Fille en Aiguilles by Serge Lutens for its amazing sweet smokey resinous scent. Intoxicated by Kilian because I just love that overdose of Kardamom on top of a creamy caramel coffee. Layton Exclusif by Parfums de Marly because it smells amazing, lasts forever and nothing smells quite like it (apart of maybe London by Widian because of the fruity-fresh-oud combo). Cafe Intense by Montale has this amazing gourmand rose on an animalic base. Reflection Man by Amouage is just a great bitter jasmin on a slightly woody base.

Iris Fauve is very nice . People like when I wear Gypsy Water . Going to have to sample LYS Mediterranne . Note of Yuzu . Just got a boat load early this year from Heeley . Haven't sampled this one yet, so I just spritzed it on, LOVE IT. If you get the chance Manny, sample Oliver & Co. Note of Yazu reminds me of Oliver's . Not in smell, but in structure. Great list.

Charogne I have yet to test. True Lust is godlike though. I still yet to cop True Lust though, hence why it does not make my Top 5 État fragrances next week. But it is definitely worth it for me. Doesn't remotely smell like your atypical Amouage at the time, because more of them were dark and/or incense-heavy and whatnot, and this one is more wet/powdery/fresh/citrusy-dominant. Enjoy! Thanks for watching. =]

Where are the Guerlain's you love??? You'll throw those out? The Hermessence fragrances? The Chanel Les Exclusifs? I know it's your list but I just want to know why those are left out? Do you just not like them as much as these?

It's 10 Fragrances for Life, so I essentially picked the ones I am most conducive to wearing both casually and formally; the Guerlains I feel would just take up space for the majority of the years as a result. Too dressy IMHO, when I'd genuinely rock Lyric Man, Iris Fauve, or Pikovaya Dama more often. Also, I no longer talk about my EDT Les Exclusifs de Chanel because no one can get them in that concentration anymore with its reformulation into the worse and overpriced EDPs now. However, I still love them more than ever. And also, I don't consider Les Exclusifs de Chanel and Hermessence to be niche really. :P Thank you for commenting! =]

Brands like Chanel sell purses and shoes and fragrances are a big part of their business but they are not "niche",Guerlain is very close to being a Niche Fragrance Company, but they also sell lipsticks and other cosmetics for women not just fragrances, the niche is the houses that only concentrate on fragrance only.

Hi there. I completely disagree on the latter. Guerlain is definitely niche. Like, they would likely tank as a brand if they solely focused on beauty and whatnot [in comparison to other lines]. Now imagine if BYREDO only did leather goods? Or if Le Labo did only bath/men's essentials? In my honest/humble opinion, attention-wise, they'd each likely be irrelevant as far as luxury goods go. If a brand predominantly specializes in perfume, they're niche, at least to me. Thanks for stopping by! =]
