I personally keep the pokemon from the CDs and do mirror trades. Its fun to have shiny luckies, so those are special trades worth happening :D! Edit: Also, in all honesty, if u are gonna transfer shiny pokemon, u can always offer them to people in ur community. you can probably make another person's day !

Elliot Brown - based on my experience there is no difference between odds of getting a lucky trade from normal trading on ComDay vs. not ComDay. Hitting the cap of 100 trades per day, you should expect it to average out to about 1:20 on recent Pokémon. (Odds should increase if at least one of the Pokémon was caught 1+ years ago).

I find Re-naming Pokemon is crucial to keeping your storage tidy. Trainer Club is talking about trading some, legacy moves older Pokémon for hopeful lucky trade - renaming appropriately stops you from having to double check again later.

Don't forget if people own LETS GO, they can transfer them over to GO Park - its quite nice as you can use the Celadon lady to guarantee nature for the main line games

Yeah, I've run a ledgendary hunt club for almost 2 years on Saturday mornings. I have 3300 ledgendary raids. I only usually keep best 6 for raid possibility and 3 for trading. 3 shinys. 2 for trading

Shiny and 100% are rare for me, so I keep them....with an exception for comm day, I don't need 19 shiny slakoth 🤦🏻‍♀️ Poke Genie has helped me to decide which ones to keep. I keep all hundos, delete/trade/reroll all shinies, no GBL specific mon, and the rest are held for trades. Trade mon are mostly shinies, regionals, unowns. 2000/3000 pre event like SZ, Gofest is a very good start. Still holding onto 100+ Pachirisu from Chicago. They're going away in July. 6 Unown of each letter except for rares like V or !.

Maybe its easier to see on this video around 19:50 you see Grimer CP 1154 and Grimer CP 468 with yellow bubbles. I havent ever seen a pokemon with such. Great topic and timing for the video , hurts a lot to transfer usable ones. hopefully they announce anything on pokemon home to prevent this activity from recurring every CD and go fest. im a completionist and just watching him transfer Shiny pokemon that i dont have is just heart wrenching. You should trade me those shiny pokemon. I dont care about IV or PVP or PVE, i just want them to collect.

Still don't understand why Niantic is so greedy with space, they have plenty of ways to monetize in the game already, bag space is not a big money maker (£150 max one time purchase compared to raid passes which make that in a month easy from a single player). Unlmited storage for every player in the entire world could probably fit on less than 1TB which is not a lot for a company which makes millions... This could open the game up to so much more possibilities such as saving one of each pokemon and having them organized in the pokedex like old games and getting rewards which are better than just badges. Also lets the player decide to either keep them or transfer for candy instead of it not being a choice at all as most people transfer for the space not candy, its just a bonus. Also being able to keep pvp and raid pokemon, there are so many possibilities it's crazy.

I used to keep Pokemon for trading "hey someone may need this etc", unless you're famous no one wants your Pokemon, because there are so many people who have extras, the chance you are gonna be picked to fill the 4 people who may actually want that special Pokemon in your community is low. Once I got to terms with that I've stayed around 2k/3k And my mantra is "delete if not rare, 100 or shiny". And then I'm still a hypocrite because I have costume Pokemon and a couple legendary each but I can fairly easily get to 2k Pokemon before I go out hunting. I've also noticed I have been getting more shinies once I began staying "low"

Lol I’ve just started playing a week ago because of my son who wanted to play it. Now the whole family are playing this game it’s great. I’m struggling to find max IV Pokémon think I’ve only found 1 so far. So if you want to trade me some to help me get started rather than transfer them that would be much appreciated:)

@@letzvisit1661 hehe mhm inventory management is annoying ^^ Out of the heal items I just save Hyper or Max potions, and only Max Revives.. but I highly advice to keep putting pokemon in gyms to get coins and expand both your Item Inventory and your Pokemon Storage ^^ Since your whole family is playing, a good tips for trading is to save any high CP pokemon (even the bad IV ones) and trade em away.. since high CP means you dont need as much stardust to level it up, and every trade randomizes the IV anyways, so a high CP pokemon with really bad IV can turn out awesome (also chance of getting a Lucky one, which always has good IV's)

im just gonna hoard everything until i can move shinies from PoGo to Pokemon HOME. I can't release shinies, also for me I keep Ideal PvP mons and anything else ill replace the closer i get to a hundo. I just gotta figure out the ideal space for my bag items though....
