Thank you it worked but i had to look at another video i was not sure why it wasn't working till another video said to kill yourself fully at the checkpoint

I'm glad you got the trophy in the end! I'm gonna run the game again to triple check these trophies Edit: Happened to me today! I just let him kill me fully, then ran back still in spectral form
