Lol the mesh gutters main problem isn’t things getting into the gutter through the holes it’s the hole being clogged from the top making the gutter useless. As someone who has cleaned gutters for five years just stick to a regular gutter or else it will just cost more to have them cleaned when theirs issues

Works great for a year or 2 then roof grit and moss and slime starts to grow in it

This stuff has leaves and other large organic matter just get fussed to the top and not allow the gutters to even work. They suck......

So if there is a ton of leafs covering the foam its the same as the ones on the street with the metal plate and then u gotta clogged gutter or am i tripping 🤔

The flaw is the buildup on top of the foam. The more buildup, the more it compresses in on that gutter /or expands due to environment. Hence the need for UV protection. I would say to just clean your gutters, nothing will stop the leaves
