Thank you for his service and your service. As a fire wife wife and momma- I get it (on a much smaller scale). We call it Shift Murphy (or in your case deployment Murphy) anything that CAN go wrong when they are away WILL happen while they are away. It SUCKS in the moment but looking back I'm so thankful for the things it has taught me and shown me that while I couldn't love life without my husband, the love of my life but when push comes to shove I CAN HANDLE IT. Dishwashers, laundry machines, a rat being killed in our AC fan blades (yes... yes.... I know), kids visits to the ER (when you have to load up all three cause no one else is home to help), car issues etc etc etc the list goes on and on. I'm so amazed by other first responder families and military families- you got this, you did this and now he is home and the new "normal" can take over. My husband is always the first to tell people "I get the privilege to do what I do because SHE does what she DOES"

My first experience was great, second not so great but it was during the pandemic. Will you have a basement in Indy? Asking only because I live in the Dayton Oh area. Tornadoes happen here and in Indy. I’m highly fearful of them. I have the same issue with my toilet seats!! Mine starts to turn blue from the cleaners. It's so annoying. I've loved in my house 5 years now and I've replaced the seat at least 5/6 times. Once I sat down and felt a pinch on my butt realized the damn thing had a crack in it from the cleaners eating at it. I know the toilet isle at Home Depot hates to see my coming 😂😂
