Have always used notes to collect tidbits, quotes and random stuff that i may use later but did not know all of its capabilities. The more I use the app, and the more I learn about, it the better it gets. Thanks for another knowledge nugget. Always find your videos useful in some way.

Depends on what sharing options you are using. For instance, Zoom lets you share just one window.

Wow, that is wild, using a 'keep on top' note in full screen. Seems like a bug enables it. Also great that it works easily in SM. Wonder if this works with a Quick Note. Thanks!

Thanks. Keeping a note on top could be so useful to me but at the moment there are far too many idiosyncrasies that need to be cleared up 1) it should be much easier to reposition 2) the menu extended items stop working 3) it disappears when shifting between full screen windows And I’m sure there are many other issues to be sorted.

Hi Gary thanks again, this tip has made Mac Notes such a powerful tool for me is like have a paper pad on my computer to take down note , ( Except I can actually read the note, instead of my chicken scratch )

This is so cool! Only problem seems to that my mac is not like your mac :-) My mac is an "Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB", operating system version 14.5, and doing as you suggest does not introduce a "keep on top". When I need to find out a detail of the mac os I always try to find you explaining it, because your youtube explanations are so rich in the number of stuff and details included I rarely see anyone else explain mac os as well. My mac is set in Danish, which of cause sometimes makes be have to guess how english keywords are transformed to the english keywords - but it is mostly just a few guesses. What is harder for me is to figure out if it is me who cannot guess the danish word, or if there is a difference in operating system. I assume you always show things corresponding to the newest operating system. I am at 14,5. But very good work in general!

hey i have a question , when i purchased my mac it was running on bigsur . and there was an option may be when i download any installer from safari after installing that installer file automatically moved to bin, but now its not happening can you please tell me which setting i am missing???

I think that feature depends on how the "installer" was built. Maybe you just haven't run into an installer recently that was built in such a way to trigger that function.

My Notes app glitched out when ai did this and I couldn't get rid of the floating window and my notes would only open when I double clicked on the note. I had to reset my Mac mini which luckily only takes a few minutes. I was also having some weird things happening in the music app and the reset fixed that too.

How does one delete a tab group,...where is the delete option? Very frustrating,

Use the context menu. Hover over the tab group in the left sidebar, click the three-dots button, choose delete. Or, just Control+click (right click) on the tab group in the left sidebar and choose Delete.
