"Keeping Track of Scaled Jewels" Biology & Conservation of Maine's Butterflies, Phillip deMaynadier

The Center for Wildlife Studies “Wild Maine” Series, in partnership with the Camden Public Library, continues with a presentation about the biology and conversation of Maine butterflies with wildlife biologist Phillip deMaynadier. This event will took place at the Camden Public Library on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Phillip deMaynadier, Ph.D. is a wildlife biologist for Maine’s Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) where he leads the Wildlife Diversity Section. He has authored over 50 scientific publications, is active on numerous state and national wildlife technical committees, and serves on the Graduate Faculty at University of Maine’s Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation Biology. He is was also the Co-coordinator of Maine Butterfly Survey.
The mission of the Center for Wildlife Studies is to provide accessible environmental education worldwide and promote wildlife conservation through science.
