A definite perk of being a reseller is that you can purchase lovely things that you otherwise wouldn't have room for in your house, be able to enjoy it for a bit, and then send it on to someone else who will enjoy it (plus make some money off of it).❤

Don’t de-tusk the walrus!!! I agree that new ivory items shouldn’t be sold but to remove from obvious antique pieces ruins them. Better to give such an item away to someone than that! But he’s found a good home with you. Definitely a friend for Sir NFS PS To say I had forgotten how much it helps me to bid with confidence when I can see you handle an item. Definitely can relate size but somehow it also helps me with quality as well. Don’t know why on the last item but it really does make a difference. Used to buy a lot on eBay and think it will always be a great place for rare & esoteric items but online sales are so much more fun. Right now though I’m on a strict budget

I think the little flat porcelain plates are place cards. You can put a persons name on it and wipe it off to use again?

Do you have a dead pile? Some night when you’re at the shop alone, fill a box with 25 small things from your dead pile. Then dispose of them by either donating to a faraway Goodwill or mail it to someone. I think you have too much to deal with right now. Getting rid of dead pile or mistakes will definitely lighten your load. I hope I haven’t offended you. You’re very successful at what you do. Everyone needs to clean their closets.

She recently filled some baskets with donations and she got all kinds of comments telling her not to do that. People felt it was a waste of money. Everyone has an opinion about what’s best for her and her business. I believe she can figure it out on her own. Your suggestion is valid, I’m just saying she’s done that already and probably will again.

She just need to limit her category of what she buys her name is lamp lady but she barely sells lamps also 10 categories of things that sale the most or highest would help alot I have a shop myself this help me organize quickly and focus on profit of sales
