Hi Dylan, thanks for your lovely videos. Just a curiosity, how do you moor on a town quay or harbour wall with these huge tidal differences? too much warp and the boat drifts around. not enough and it's hanging by its cleats...

KeepTurningLeft -I had searched ybw but, as you say, I saw 17 contradicting and inconclusive posts. But seeing that you appear to have successfully mastered a technique or two along your travels, I was hoping you may share your wisdom.

long heavy ropes is what you need. Some local weight the ropes with one gallon oil cans filled with stones, I use the spare anchor which I run down the bow rope until it is half way along. That seems to keep the whole system under gentle tension
