Do you stripe your lawn all year long? Even in the Summer months

I do not. I will stop striping when the summer heat and stress comes around the end of June into July. Then typically I won't stripe again till its ready after my fall overseeding.

Cam, Great info as always, without your help my yard wouldn't be in the condition it's in. Last year I seeded in the fall with that intermountain seed you recommended that seed is amazing such a rich green.The only problem is this being our first year in this house the old grass seed from the previous owner is nothing like that seed from intermountain my yard is dark green and light green spotty is there anything I can put on it to match, or will I just have to keep seeding until it takes over. I know come this fall I'm going heavy on that intermountain seed it such a good seed and it really doesn't require much water.Thank you Cam for everything .

I had/have the same issue in my front yard. For larger patches, killed them off in the fall and reseeded. Overall I just continue to overseed with quality seed. It may take awhile and it will never look as good as full renovation but it can look pretty dang good.

New to the channel do you have any tips for Florida weather ❓just bought a house coming from an apartment have 2 acres and don’t know what the hell I’m doing lol I have a lot of fire ants and mole rats

Congrats on the new place and having some acres! My recommendation for Florida and having 2 acres would be to pick a warm season grass type that spreads and does not take a lot of inputs. My suggestion would be Bermuda.

Last week was nice. The week before it rained all week and now I've got yellow grass blades and fungus. Still the best lawn on the block (for now), but It's too early for this crap. Your lawn looks phenomenal. What's your go to fungicides and are you able to go the whole season without seeing fungus with your regiment? What's the general strategy?

I am just like everyone else I will get disease pressure. My fungicide regimen will keep it in check to where it is not widespread or very noticeable. Like I mentioned in the video, I will rotate between different fungicides from different groups and I use phosphites every 14-21 days during the high disease pressure periods...June, July, and August.

Really enjoy your vids, dude! I have a lot of dead violets that I sprayed a few weeks ago that are still around. Do I just have to wait for them to decompose or do I need to pull them out? There's quite a bit of them. Keep up the helpful videos!

Thanks man! You don't have to pull them out they will decompose. But if they are suffocating your grass, i would just rake it out. The dead leaves should fall off really easily.

I started using PGR last season at lower rates. This year I went full rate and im loving the reduced growth this time of year. I don't have to be on the lawn mowing 3x per week and the lawn seems to like it especially the backyard
