I've had my keeway superlight for about 5 years now i have had a lot of bikes over the years but for some reason this bike is joy to ride very comfortable and it feels like a bigger bike than a 125 the only criticism i have i wish it had more power

Personally I have found that unless the ohc is run in bearings as opposed to directley in the head (which most are)the ohv engine is far more long lasting even tho an ohc produces more power . You pay your money and make your choice . Go further or go faster.On a 125 I think I would allways go for the ohv given a choice as the small difference in power do's not realy justify the shorter life of the engine.

we haven't had any issues with the ohv engine just a bit noisy the ohc ones the tappets go tight

Great value for money bike for town , but struggles on hills and faster roads when going into a headwind . I cant find a 16 tooth front sprocket for mine , so going to put on a 44t rear sprocket with a longer better quality gold o-ring chain , which will give better mechanical advantage ( torque ) .

Could never get mine past 60 mph most times, in all weather of course. The best of days maybe 65 mph. Also had issues with the foot break and gear shifter in wet weather, sometimes my foot would slip off. Also not easy to 'hover' your foot above the break either, you have to constantly move your foot between the footpad and break which was iffy when I needed to break quickly. Looks nice and cheap to run. Rusted a bit quickly. I only passed my CBT/got the bike in Jan I think so maybe I'm doing some things wrong. Anyway, I'm looking to sell it but I don't know what's best and how much I'd get for it. Not even sure how to read the mileage lol! I think I might just sell to a dealership for stress free or else it's just going to sit there forever I think. 2k would be nice.
@Ridingreviews2 жыл бұрын
you can adjust the gear lever and the break lever when i want to sell a bike i do a search on ebay for the bike and the i go to advanced and click sold items that will tell you what the sold for recently son on average now for a second had superlight it will be about £900 to £1100 but that depend on mileage and condition year and mot status

Change the front chain sprocket to a 15 tooth version. (17 by default, but the k-light also comes with 15 version and the engines are the same, but the k-light is more dynamic)
@H_Grunt2 жыл бұрын
@@BM-il3py Honestly, I don't know what any of that means lol but thanks. I'll refer back to it if I ever get into the maintenance side of things and/or develop a passion for it. Right now the bike is just sitting outside with insects making it their home and plants beginning to envelope it. I'm thinking about taking it for a spin but it's been a good few months since I've rode and my heart beat goes mad when I even think about it. Not that it's the bike that's the problem, I struggle to leave the house for anything lol. Then again, the fact that I haven't been on it for a while makes me think the worst. That I'll end up stalling or doing something even more embarrassing. But it's going to be between 10pm - 6am I go out so no chance of anyone witnessing it I guess haha.
