Best Fitting Hat. Excellent video. I started shaving my head a couple years ago. One side-effect that never occurred to me is how much difference the absence of hair made when it came to wearing sunglasses and hats. If you can find "Ahead" brand hats, they fit the BEST. I'm a 6/78 with very little space from the top of my head to my ears and these hats fit perfect. The only problem is that they aren't a major brand that associates with sports teams. They mostly sell a blank template that stores and such put a custom logo on.

@@hassanjamal4212 ultimately it's personal preference. I don't have a small head, usually large hats fit me. But my head kind of looks small in proportion to the rest of my body. I personally don't like the look of a big, boxy baseball cap or a huge beanie. It can make your head look small in comparison.

@@yugen with all due respect no it won't . you should always wear the opposite in order to be more presentable . if you have a soft round face , were angular or square sunglasses . if your thin and lanky wear loose baggy clothes . if your head is small wear boxy and spacious hats. the point is to introduce balance by adding the lacking metrics . NOT accentuate what is already obvious by wearing similarly shaped or sized apparel .

I'm approx. 6 7/8 so this is definetely an issue for me. For those of you out there I have found Under Armour Blitzing hats come in S/M and are actually Small! (many hats labeled S/M aren't really smalls) this hat also comes in maybe 10 different colors and changed my life lol. For MLB some of the 47' Series come in S/M that fit decently as well. The brims on youth hats end up short & can look silly..

A few things that have helped me. I golf all the time so hats are a must. Biggest problem I have is the cone head- where the top is pointy. I usually wash my hats a few times - this shrinks them and soften them up and that has helped with some hats to get them to lay better. . Also, I curve in the bill a little- not to much but gives the illusion of a better fitting hat for a smaller head. Also I avoid hats with large lettering or logo - ya know the kind you see at a gas station that is all CAPS that says B R O O K L Y N or an over sized pot leaf. Also, once you get that hat to fit and look just right see what else is in that brand and size and scoop up a few more so you are not always wearing same hat - and I wash mine in dishwasher and air dry for longevity.

I prefer fitted hats and I've found low profile 5950's look pretty good, still have the roundish bill but the cap is sucked down further to your head and if you shape the bill properly its pretty good imo.

47 Clean up is the only hat I can wear. I used to always wear New Era Youth caps but they always hurt my head. New Era Casual Classics is another style to try. Pretty much any " Womens " hat will fit better then a Youth fit

On field minor league hats are shaped exactly like the MLB hats but now New Era offers low profile hats that are work throughout the MLB and seen on the sidelines of NFL games. Some hats that are snap back and/or strap back the front panels can vary in size.

@@mvj1153 I did find a good hat company called King and Fifth, but they don't sell trucker hats which is my go to. I was able to get a workout hat from them that is closer to what I'm looking for, but hilariously was just a bit too small. Just tried Nixon again this month actually, still too big despite their marketing claims. I'll go in and try Travis Mathew hats when I'm at the local mall, 95% of the time the hat is too big, but every once in awhile I'll find one that doesn't look bad.

BEST FITTING HAT Holy crap! I have been trying to find a low profile hat, structured crown. It's about impossible! Here's the deal that frustrates me. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago I was buying the 'Bird Cap' from Arcteryx company. It was a structerd low profile cotton twill hat. It was the BEST fitting hat I have EVER worn. I bought many. They used 'flexfit' for these hats. So years later I went to buy another, to my surprise I got it and it was different. The bill was not as stiff, the fit was loose, the material different. Wasn't as low profile as the others I bought. Looked inside and the inner band did not say 'flexfit'! They are now using some other company for their hats. That all being said. I cannot find a hat like that anymore! I searched flexfit company to see if I could find the type they used, nope. The only thing I can find really is the flexfit dad hat, which fir all the dad hats, it's the best. But I hate non structured hats. Hate maybe to strong. Anyway, if you're looking for low profile fitted hat, the only thing I can find that's good is the 'flexfit' dad fitted cap fir now. There on Amazon. Just type that in. So please I tried to figure out what type of Arcteryx flexfit they were using for that bird cap and can't figure it out. Arcteryx does sell a wool version of the bird cap now, but it's not the fkexfit version. So maybe you have more connections and maybe you can figure what they used for the Original Bird Cap. I'm telling you it was the nicest low pro fitted structured hat out there. Post a video if you figure it out. Please and thank you. Peace out!

You are not too picky. I have this exact problem. Add in a receding hair line and it’s a whole other set of problems
