I had a pair of LS50 Wireless in my house for a couple of months. I noticed that at a mid-loud volume, I was getting listening fatigue in about and hour. The top end just seemed a little abrasive. Then, I had the opportunity to audition the LS50 Metas. I expected little or no difference. WRONG! The Metas had no upper range listening fatigue and just sounded richer. To top it off, I was using a very "mid-level" Rotel A12 (60wpc) integrated amp. So I bought the LS50 Meta's and the Rotel and still had enough $$ leftover to take the wife out for a fine steak dinner. The Rotel has a very good DAC and all the digital and analog connectors of the LS50 Wireless. The reviewer is correct.

you own ls50 wireless 1 or 2?

Very true, the Wireless II are bright speakers as measured by Erin.

Def the LS50 metas are better and more flexible since you can upgrade the amp and/or DAC. I’m using a Willsenton R800i class A SET 48W amp and a Denafrips Pontus 2 DAC and Iris DDC in a small room. Amazing results

Have you listened to the ls50 meta's on a Hegel H190? I have been using a H120 and get really good results but have read that the H190 sounds amazing through them

I own LS50 Meta and Hegel H190, sounds really good, as you move up to H390, it gets slightly better, but when you move up to H590 you definitely can notice the significant different, it's amazingly good.

@@Fung-qh4jf You say that the H590 is amazingly good with the Meta's but what if I go next level and try them with a pair of Pass Labs Xs 300 Monoblocks? Do you think I will notice a significant difference?😆😆😆

make sure to swap wires in your "nasty" cable, since current flows in opposites direction there down under.

Can a Denon DRA-900h give the ls50 enough power to sound good?

Would the blue sound power node be a good pair for the meta without a sub or would I need more power.. noob question I know

What speaker cables do you recommend for KEF LS50 Meta?
@audioconnectionaus2 жыл бұрын
Depends on your amp, room and what sort of sonic signature you like. We do cable discovery processes for a lot of our clients, where we sit them down either in their house or our shop and run through different "flavours". Just like getting into wine or whiskey, it's often about discovering what tastes you like. Happy to arrange this for you too! Just DM us or email hello@audioconnection.com.au.

Hi Eduardo, yes absolutely! The KEF Wireless speakers have analog and digital inputs, so you can connect it up that way

Could this be because you're using your phone and not into an audio source so you're not getting the 192k you're getting something else I think less than 100k

Which size of isoacoustic speaker stand is sufficient for a LS50Wireless? 6.1"W x 7.5"D or 7.8"W x 10"D? Cheers,

I have tried both the Aperta and Aperta200, and found the Aperta to be a much better fit for the LS50 Meta and Wireless II.

If you plug the LS 50 s into a power bar, they will suffer! Directly into the wall plug is best.
@Vince967113 жыл бұрын
How will it affect the sound exactly? I have a limited amount of wall plugs in my room (only 3 and all of them have powers trips connected to them), but if the change in sound will be noticeably better, then I'm willing to sacrifice one of my wall plugs for the speakers/amp.

You could let the music play more than 10 seconds...we really need a comparison, right?
@audioconnectionaus2 жыл бұрын
Hey Florin, thanks for the feedback! Sometimes its hard to hear the comparison through the speakers/laptop computer speakers/headphones that people use at home - we've watched a few other videos where they do compare different systems on the channel but for us it doesn't quite capture all the detail in what the systems are totally capable of. But appreciate the feedback and will look to changing the way we do things in the future!
