I saw a tiny camper the other day. Couldn't figure out the make. Now i get that it was a custom kei car. Or probably a kei camper in the first place.

Really nice little documentary. This should have far more views. Well produced and informative. Thanks. I have a new Kei car arriving in two weeks. Funny that its more expensive than my Honda Fit, yet smaller and, thanks to the turbo, has worse gas mileage. But it fills a need.

Thank you! Which car are you getting? :)

The Daihatsu Wake. With all the camping/recreation options, the cost added up quickly. But as a second car for a small family in urban Japan, it actually works quite well given the size and financial incentives. It must be the most ungainly looking car on the road though, like Daihatsu finally took a toy car and built it to scale!

Over the years many Kei cars have been imported to Australia from the Honda scamp to the Suzuki capachino and many vans in between, just not a constant flow, Importation have been a bit sporadic.

These cars would sell like hot cakes in Europe. Especially now with the overcrowded and full streets and parking lots.

Doesn't Europe have its own class equivalent to these?

Japanese car culture sucks, you can't owe a car for a long time because of taxes despite of great Japanese made cars.
@fuerstmetternich1997 Жыл бұрын
I am sorry but these cars are just way to ugly to use them.
