I envy tourists' point of view when they visit Japan for a short time. Everything is interesting and piques your curiosity. Once you've lived here for 15+ years it's just a frustrating grind of isolation

Smoke came from overcooking the meat and essentially some its' residuals staying on there and starting to char I believe. Didn't look too overcooked; although 10-20 seconds is a long time with those types of grills. :)

Donny is such a cool customer. His legs are practically touching his chest while riding shotgun in terrifying conditions..and still he’s enjoying himself. I can see why you guys are great pals. Two chill dudes making the best of an adventure. Also, the meteorite knife must be insane to make. My sister in law is a geologist and gave me a tiny piece for Christmas. I tried drilling it with a Diamond steel bit to put on a chain. It melted the bits without making a dent in the rock. I’m curious how they heat and incorporate the meteorite with metal.
