My first visit to this exhibition and it certainly captivated my interest. Held in a garden centre with lots of room to wander about and enjoy the layouts. All were of a high, in fact very high level of detail.
Layouts large and small.
Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.

an unusual venue.... but it seemed to work well, and some very good layouts there. I could have happily taken Newton Grove home..! ( and very nearly took a four foot tall winged Griffin away with me too ) good video Les, back to 1 : 1 scale again soon ?

What a motley collection of layouts, but I think I prefer when these layouts were soundless - and quiet. Those 37s were noisy! I did observe that there was a fondness for station signage in the former NE Region Orange. Not surprising considering the host town. I wonder what the various model clubs use to transport these so realistic layouts around. A nice day out for you, Les, and not too far to travel.

There were some excellent examples of fine modelling. Only a 2.5 hour train journey!
