an unusual venue.... but it seemed to work well, and some very good layouts there. I could have happily taken Newton Grove home..! ( and very nearly took a four foot tall winged Griffin away with me too ) good video Les, back to 1 : 1 scale again soon ?

Great video Les. I missed going to the exhibition this year even though I only live 20 mins away. There seemed to be a lot more layouts than previous years. It would have been nice to say hello. John

What a motley collection of layouts, but I think I prefer when these layouts were soundless - and quiet. Those 37s were noisy! I did observe that there was a fondness for station signage in the former NE Region Orange. Not surprising considering the host town. I wonder what the various model clubs use to transport these so realistic layouts around. A nice day out for you, Les, and not too far to travel.
