I truly love you so much it’s touched my soul is so many ways than I ever thought was possible that after I experienced it I somehow wished to go back to the time before I watched it. I’ve theorized and I have an entire journal dedicated to it. My theories, and connections. My only lifeline in the darkest point of my life, without any comfort but my own sympathy for Miku. The visitor , the voice on the phone, the animal, and Miku herself, helped me understand my own relationships, a visualization of my own struggle from a third persons view. And how human relationships come to be. The power dynamics . Knowing, and how it used to feel to not know. My ravings in my journal are meaningless compared to this work of art . But I can’t help but ponder it over and over again. I love it , I’m so happy I can watch it , I’m so happy.

basically Keiichiro Shibuya who is the main musician here is an experimental minimalist/electronic/classical performer. the piece was commissioned by Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media and it was performed live across various concert halls in Europe in 2013

What in the world is this even? The first 15 mins is creepy af , both visuals and audio. My 12 yr old who loves miku, is freaked out just from getting a glimpse of it. It made no sense to me either 😱🤷🏻‍♀️ this should have an R rating on it so kids don't come across this looking for fun miku content,then get scared tf out their britches 😱 and never wanna see miku anymore!! The subject of death is a sensitive topic and one that children should not just come across on yt like this while searching miku content... please do something to warn viewers before hand that this is pretty much horror genre and not appropriate for children...

Hatsune Miku is just an instrument, it's nothing intended for kids, I don't know how you got that idea in your head. People can use the software for whatever kind of expression they'd like. What you call "creepy af" I call beautiful and haunting.

I was into miku when she first came out: i was around 11. Even back then the songs people wrote were about existence and death, and i never found them scary as a kid. They were honestly pivotal pieces of art and music in my life that i still hold dearly. This was an opera in collaboration with Louis Vuitton shown in paris over a decade ago. It’s a piece of art and it shouldnt be censored like this because it scares you or you dont get it. it’ll probably do you some good to rewatch it tbh. Miku isnt even aimed at children she was marketed to male otaku in the mid-2000s and even i knew that as an 11 year old lol.
