I purchased one of the most coveted piece in my collection a few years ago and I'm so excited to share all my thoughts & opinions! This is the one piece in my entire collection that I have more cons than pros to share-- but it still doesn't stop me from loving & recommending it!

Learned so much about my LV I purchased forever ago lol. I have a size 45 Keep All made in 2000. Best classy travel duffle hands down but I wish it had compartments. The 45 fits at your feet on the plane if you want to keep it close. Yes it gets stupid heavy so don't pack to the Max. Classic piece....totally worth the purchase

LOL I have found some AMAZING pieces on eBay!! Don't count them out just yet-- but I would only shop eBay if you are confident doing so and wouldn't be worried about questioning your items. A good way to authenticate any item is to take it to LV for them to repair it. They will only repair their authentic pieces! Aww haha thanks so much! Thank you for helping me find the date and size of the bag. I went to a mall here in Okinawa, Japan today and they have a store inside that sells pre-loved items. I purchased a Keepall Bandouliere 60 for $526. The date of the bag is July 1996 made in France. This bag looks like it was barely used. It has a few water spots, and the zipper is a little stiff, but it is beautiful and the straps have barely patina…great review!

Bought my LV 55b in Japan for less than half the price. It's from 1995, but leather is still light, no marks and there's still srickers on the metal hardware. Gotta love bargains.

I got one this yr for $950, still in a very good condition but there is a name of the former owner written with permanent marker on the inside of the canvas, that I've been researching how to remove the marker. It is truly heavy for I am only 5'1. But I just love to keep an iconic lv that I can still keep forever :)

Great video thanks for sharing. I saw a used Keepall 45 and 50 in a high end consignment shop in my area. The 45 is $700 the 50 $900. I have been debating if l want to go back and get the 50 for travel. The bags didn’t have any straps.

You are so welcome beautiful! Ahh I think the 50 or the 45 would be great pieces, but just keep in mind this bag without a strap isn't an easy carry at all. But I think it would still be great for overnight trips and such! Hope this helps a little!

@@KeikoBeauty yes your review really helped . I purchased a 1999 Alize 2 pouch for $700 in excellent condition instead. It was a little bigger than the 50 and l liked the shape and compartments. Hopefully it won’t be as heavy. I didn’t get one with the strap based on your review. I didn’t find it necessary to pay an extra $200 for a strap l probably won’t use. My use will probably be for airport travel a couple times a year. I’d rather carry it than having it dig into my shoulder like that. Wishing you continued blessings.

It’s definitely a stylish piece. I love it but I’m not sure it’s practical for me since it’s not super functional (no pockets). I agree with your stance on price though. If it was all leather then I would say $3k would be justifiable but then it would also be really heavy. It’s a beautiful luxury travel piece though. It would be nice to showcase in my closet 😂

the mark on shoulder is because friction and weight of the bag, i use a small towel or have a sweater on so you wont get a mark. is something normal with a heavy bags, even with backpacks.

I got one from tradesy about 8 years ago in great vintage condition. I think it’s from 1983 and dark leather with bandouliere but interior was clean. Got a good deal on it and to me it’s not worth buying new just to ruin the leather. I use it for car trips. I took it to the airport once but it was so heavy. I was afraid they’d make me check it. The 50 did fit under my seat though!

I totally agree, better to buy preowned then you don't have to worry about it not being perfect because it will get dirty with use!! You should go for it babe! As long as you don’t stuff it full and plan on carrying over your shoulder for like 15 mins, I think you’ll be okay. As heavy as this bag is, I still use it often bc it’s such a beautiful classic and I enjoy using it so much!!!❤️❤️🥰

It can be! I didn’t find out for myself, but I know for those who replace leather on speedys and such it can cost like $500 sometimes. I guess if you’re looking to completely revamp your item it may be worth it. Bc I know I’d rather have older canvas than the new lol.

I've had my eye on Louis Vuitton luggage for many years but I've never taken the plunge for the very fact that TSA is disrespectful with your luggage so I would definitely have to purchase a piece that I could carry on the plane. I prefer new on this …thinking of a previous owners dirty clothes inside….ughhhh. I’ve had my 45 for a few years and love it as well. Yep the bag is heavy with nothing inside so imagine it packed! Lol that’s why I got the 45 and it’s carry on friendly since I usually board the plane late and the overhead bins are full and they force u to check the bag…nooooo the 45 will fit under the seat.
