I don't think Germany will get that cheap Russian gas again. Russia is done with Europe. It can sink into oblivion for all Russia cares. ESPECIALLY Germany now that German tanks fought near Kursk again. Maybe if the AfD gains power in Germany, but there is absolutely zero chance of that happening. In Europe no party ever gains a majority and thus needs coalition partners to get one. The other parties in Germany have declared a cordon sanitaire against the AfD, so they will never enter into coalition with them, so the AfD will never be part of a government. But suppose one party did break rank and did enter into coalition, they would demand such steep concessions to make the AfD toothless. In order for the PVV to be allowed into the Dutch government they had to agree to continue supporting the war in the Ukraine. I would see the same thing happening in Germany.

The reason we don't tend to use our own oil is because it is a fine quality and so we sell it and import the cheapo stuff but we shouldn't go short at all no matter if the rest of the world exists or not! To become a superpower on something like AI, to focus on it, you need to show efforts to overtake US, Chinese, Russians, Indians, Koreans and others in programming and engineering, while essentially becoming less sophisticated in other fields. Way to go with all these high energy prices and taxes UK, way to go.

Thank you both gentlemen for todays video...Starmer is deluded on many levels including thinking he will remain Prime minister in the Kingdom...Great video and excellent information as always.

AI technology requires a lot of power. The UK came within a whisker of a nationwide blackout recently, our antiquated national grid struggles to keep the lights on, so i don’t think we can become a world leader in AI. Maybe Starmer has been talking to Miliband & thinks we can get the power from fairy dust.

The big question is: How are we going to protect Nordstream from our allies?
