Not biased at all as I bought the Keiser M3i (proper spelling, all wrong in the close captioning) when COVID started. I wanted a spin bike that’s gonna last and not have buyers remorse. I saw the Peleton bike at the mall store today and didn’t even want to go in and touch it. At 85 lbs, I just moved my Keiser to the living room spot where the Christmas tree was for training again. I can’t imaging moving around 135 lbs. a big regret with some people I’ve talked to. The Peleton might as well be a motorcycle. The one I saw at the store had so much extra plastic covering now over the sweat zone it’s ugly. Being self motivated, I just use my Polar HR and apps to see my heart rate for workouts. Listen to my own choice of music and TV show or movie while spinning. It was easy to get a bike shoe and have the SPD Cleats installed and up and running in no time. I also like the no monthly fee tied to the bike and app. Have a great New Year and Ride on Folks!

I have pre-owned Keiser M3 (not i) in excellent condition/low-ish mileage, and I really love it. Also love the quality, industrial design, etc. Almost like a piece of art! (And the M3i model is even better) Keep in mind though that if you use the Peleton iOS/Android app, you still have to pay I think $15/month, but you don't get "all" the features that you do when you pay $40 with the Peleton with integrated screen. That said, I really don't want to pay $40/month, or even $15, as there are plenty of great workout videos for free on KZbin.

I work out on a Keiser at my local Y. The thing is a very robust commercial grade bike. Love it!

I bought my m3i around the start of the pandemic when my gym closed. My gym has a studio with Kesier m3i bikes and the studio is locked when there isn't a class. The cardio room has the more conventional casual fitness bikes. I wanted a club-quality piece of equipment that's very quiet and durable and went with the m3i. The only thing that I missed was the ability to connect to my Garmin watch for power meter recording in Garmin Connect but I've just ordered a device that will bridge the Keiser to the Garmin ecosystem.

I have been using a Keiser spin bike at my local fitness club for over 4 years now. Due to Corona 19, and everything shut down indefinitely, I have decided to purchase a spin bike for my home. I have done extensive research on various manufacturers, taking in consideration build quality, origin of manufacturer, features, warranty and lastly, cost. In my opinion, the Keiser bike is the best choice, hands down! Mine new bike is on its way to me and im very excited to get back into my spinning routine.

I just ordered a Keiser M3i yesterday. How long did it take for them to ship it to you?
@artchristy16984 жыл бұрын
@@Michael.Clovis It only took a couple of weeks to deliver. They will send you a welcome email with a tracking number, video and catalog for you to download if you wish. Watch the assembly video, it is spot on for the assembly. Its incredibly simple to assemble and this is from a guy that doesn't know which end of a screwdriver to useL enjoy your bike, you will not be disappointed and the envy of all of the peloton bike owner!

The Bowflex Velocore ( www.bowflex.com/bikes/velocore/100925.html ) looks like an interesting new option. There is a steering/lean mechanism which can be locked and unlocked. It's similar to the action of the RealRyder studio bike; I presume their design was licensed. Steering gives an added strength component and a more interesting neurological exercise experience. It includes a monitor and can connect with a variety of the online class/VR experiences. Bowflex's optional VR service tracks and responds to steering.

Does Keizer deliver, calibrate and set up? Peloton does as well as make sure your bike is running well before they leave.

We most definitely do as authorized distributors. You might want to visit the official website to get more information about this topic in your location.

Is there anyway to not have the Keiser computer timeout after 60 seconds of inactivity?

On the newer models it supposed to stay on, on the older ones the screen shuts off when your riding? I’m looking at one my self

I hate assembling stuff. It was not super easy but it wasn't difficult either. I think with some patience and one helper you can get it done in about 2 hours ( less if you are more skilled)

I've been researching bikes too...I forgot all about this bike that I use at my local gym...looked at others, but I didn't want to pay for a tablet that only works on that manufacturer ecosystem & pay a month fee of 29 or 39 bucks...gonna use this with apple fitness when it becomes available...Thx for the review

If I had to do it over again - I would buy Keiser. I was able to get Peloton to extend my warranty 2 years for free (and needed), provide me 7 months of subscription service for free, and the newest tablet for the V2 bike I own. I've had 6 bike swaps. SIX. This is all documented for anyone to see. Once my warranty expires in February - I plan on moving to another platform. I'll sell my Peloton.

@@kristendewees1600 You're welcome. Remember the Bike+ at Peloton will always be there. Too many other choices out there - I am looking at Stages SB when it comes available again. I will mod the Peloton I have and rig it for sale.

Appreciate the comparison, but this is really biased being that you sell the Keiser and not Peloton. All of the language is so sales driven to enhance the Keiser. Both solid bikes- would love to see a more neutral review.

Hello Charles, we actually offer both options and allow for clients to decide what is best for them, depending on their personal needs and preference. This review is only a objective look into both systems in which Keiser's experience in the international market makes itself felt. It the undisputed winner in the indoor cycling industry in professional sports teams' gyms for a reason.
