You have to understand that translating one language to another language only converts the words in a sentence, not the true power and meaning behind it. When Cole would say something like, "And ain’t it shameful, how niggas blame hoes for givin' birth To a baby that took two to make; coward nigga you a fake," it would mean so much to someone who speaks English fluently, but a translation wouldn't be a perfect match to what he is saying in English. Loota is talking about slicing and tying his hair to go to the battlefield. One important aspect in Japanese culture is the life of a Samurai. Samurai being extremely important are almost like American soldiers with, obviously, much more history and stories behind them. So, this line would be pretty amazing to someone who understands the cultural aspect behind the song. It works for many of the lines.
@saulehahmed61309 жыл бұрын
Also, Kohh, my favorite of them all, almost has a similar meaning to J. Cole, and to be completely truthful to you, is underrated. If Cole or Nas said what he said it would get so much more hype (similar to Love Yourz). And, Kohh said he wore air forces with on laces, or cheap converse. He is basically saying fuck modern swag. He doesn't care about the expensive shit that looks identical to something you could get for $100 less. To prove this, I could tell you about the song "Fuck Swag" Kohh made that talks about the same exact thing.
@saulehahmed61309 жыл бұрын
The reason they wear bape is for sponsor purposes, putting shit out there. Lol plus ik it contradicts it but that's what he means, like you can tell and he even made that fuck swag song

All these people saying they are not lyrical number one you have to keep in mind. Translating it changes it some what it is not exact in our language. Two they are rapping about their lives which while the struggle is the same if you watch Kohhs interview you will see their hood and our hoods are basically the same. Keeping that in mind they are rapping about things that are relevant to them. Still goes harder than 98% of Americas current rappers.
