Super Cool. I listened to this song every morning, for 6 weeks, before I went to my radiation treatment for cancer. Cured! I was blessed. I am indeed, a Lucky Man. I just hope and pray My old GF and I reconnect.

I saw ELP in the Summer of 1969, on 500 mikes of Purple Microdot, and I lost 2 days. Carl Palmer used the big gongs a lot. Best concert ever. Even better than Led Zeppelin. Miss them days. Oh, to be 16 again.

Suicide is such a terribly sad way to go. I was shocked and I cried. I still do. Sometimes life is more than some can bear. That said, Keith left us some of the greatest music ever composed. Ethereal, heavenly, complex, heavy, and beautiful. He was a pilot, a motorcycle guy, and played in front of tens of 1000s of people. Traveled the globe. He lived a full life! I'm so grateful his music is here to bring us the joy it does. Miss you Keith AND Greg ❤ Im so glad Rachel flowers keeps the music alive

It's December 1968. I'm on top of the Newton building in Nottingham.( Trent Poly). The Nice are playing. As a treat, i've taken my 15 year old brother Barry as an early Xmas present. For just over an hour and a half , me and my mates are enthralled by the antics of Keith Emerson , doing his "knife act" on the organ. One of the BEST concerts i've ever witnessed, and i've seen them all( Floyd, Stones etc). Rondo, America. Mindblowing. RIP Keith. You were a legend.!

It is very hard, but we have to accept the fact that the same hands that produce such beauty with such passion and inspiration, can also cause destruction. No problem Keith, we love you anyway.

Brilliant! I saw Emerson several times live with The Nice. Later with ELP, but long long time ago. This version of Lucky Man is the best I ever heard performed live! RIP Keith...you left a huge legacy.

I do not know how but I had never seen this version before. Probably my second favourite ELP song after From the Beginning. I always liked the slower more acoustic stuff. The guitar work on this is outstanding. Thanks for posting.
