Hallelujah!! I look forward to running into Keith, and giving him a bear hug for as long as we are allowed up there!!! And suspect there'll be a long procession behind me😊❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉. Its April 13 2024, the week of the solar eclipse (8th of April), and I'm still laughing, crying, and repenting because of his message. Keith, you were, and still are, an amazing human being. Keep rejoicing in the presence of Our Eternal Father of Life and Light❤❤❤❤❤

a founding member of the Jesus Music Era. His very emotional music inspired my walk with the Lord. I graduated in 79. precious and innocent time for Christian Music. simple choruses, fervent worship. Keith Green brought that to the conversation. musicians didn't get payed much. A love offering was all that was required in those early days.

Why only 2 comments so far I wonder. I was saved in 1980 and immediately began "discipleship" under the Last Days Newsletter and Keith's music. It continued with Winkey Pratney's Youth Aflame Bible Study and one on one and group discipleship with the help of other hungry and on fire brothers and sisters in college with me. Last night I sat down to the piano to worship the Lord and the best and almost ONLY songs I could come up with to express the longing of my heart for the Lord to receive the glory due His name were songs of Keith's. After ALL THESE YEARS where are are the songwriters to replace the passion and truth found in Keith's expressions? I continue to wonder why God allowed him to be taken so soon. We don't have enough prophets today who share the truth. We are asleep in the Light. God wake us up. I will continue to sing his songs until Jesus returns and pray that God give me the grace and anointing to write and sing some new songs full of biblical truth compelling us to give our all to Christ, to repent and to follow Him.

Have faith Kristin, the eternal glory of God shall yet be sung by the voices of His children, and the mighty hands of our great and holy Lord is holding His ministers who will shine the light of His immeasurable glory for the whole world to see. When the time is right, they shall be revealed. Keith isn’t dead for our God is the God of the living, not the dead. He is singing these songs, and greater songs before the throne of God. The song of God’s great glory is never ending or silenced but goes on eternally. Join the chorus and rest in faith that God’s ministers are still present!

KG made it clear that his goal was giving God glory and pointing people to LORD Jesus. Many “Christian” artists don’t write songs like this now because they’re profit-driven & preaching the truth like KG did gets in the way.

Amen to that. I'm watching this video for the first time. I was awaken by his song Which I learned from my previous church. Oh Lord you're beautiful, Your face is all I see...." So I quickly look it up and played it on my phone. It's a blessing to hear his story and it encourages me more. I'm sure it does help lots of us. Thank you for sharing this video. POWERFUL message! This world needs more messages like this. Most all Christians are failing thinking all along that they are alive when they are dead. My life is not what it should be but by the Grace of God I want to change. I hope others will hear this message and give their lives 100% to God. He is returning soon and we must be ready.

I'm right beside you. I've fallen so far away from God for so long. I've been listening to Keith for 2 days, crying, singing, praising and breaking. I was raised in church but didn't have a relationship with Jesus until my 20's. Thank God for Keith's music that led me to Him.

I remember this music to be from the eighties. Keith Green had a big influence on me. I remember worshiping in my kitchen while washing dishes. My stereo was in there. Keith’s music touched my heart to understand God with gratitude. I am so grateful for him and his music.

Nevertheless, Christ is King! The goodness of God is never ending and His truth is everlasting. His sheep still hear His voice. His Word is still established and is still establishing His will, and shall work continuously forever in eternal establishment of His great purpose. This present time of evil is fleeting. The schemes and plans of man will come to naught. The machinations of sin and death are already defeated. Our enemy’s purpose is already destroyed. Rest your soul in the Lord for all shall be well in the midst of the horrors of this world. Our lives are in God’s hands to pour out as He sees fit. Though I may be poured out over sorrows and pain in the face of unspeakable evil, I will trust in Him who holds my cup, for He knows what He is doing and I have tasted of the joy He has set before us all. He has promised it to us, though we suffer for a little while, He will not withhold it from us forever. Trust in the Lord for we shall be saved!

Everybody should listen to this. Keith called himself merely "a pencil" in the hand of the Great Poet, God Almighty. No one credits the pencil, which is what he wanted. This is a winning combination: God + GOOTW (get out of the way).
