I was 12 years old when he died. His death left me heartbroken; his music planted some amazing seeds in my life. Today, I'm 54 with a love for God and a master's degree in social work. God even gave me a son with a big curly afro just like his. I still play his music to this day. His ministry was truly a blessing to me and countless others. I pray that all family members affected by the plane crash are doing well.

I was born again 2.27.85 and started listening to his music and wanting to go to a concert...but then found out Keith had died, but his message struck so radically that I threw out all my secular songs I wrote for years for my bands, as directed by Father to do and woke up with a new song. Keith influenced my life to Go into ALL the world and preach the Gospel!! I am 68 and look forward to meeting him one day in the Kingdom!!

I'm 45 years old. (Born in '77.) I had never heard of Mr. Green until about a week ago despite turning my life over to Christ several years ago now. I've now been binge-watching all content with him I can find. I'm completely blown away that much of his message, particularly getting off our butts to share the gospel, is still as relevant today as it ever was. I don't even know if this channel is active anymore. But, man, I needed this. I guess the KZbin algorithm got one right this week for me. I had already been doing some real reflection on certain hard truths recently. But, now it's even more for me this week... and I'm so glad for it. Just even knowing I'm not alone (and apparently haven't been for decades and didn't know it) is a comfort even while being made uncomfortable, if that makes sense. Thanks for posting TEN YEARS ago. It's still making an impact in 2023.

I was here at this concert. During Keith's time on stage, I was compelled to stand for the call to go out into the world. That same week I got an unexpected call from my friend to go to hidden people, deep in the heart of Mexico where there were native Indian dialects and no Christians. I was on a bus within that week. For the next month and other short mission trips later, I have seen God move the hearts of men in the dryest of places. We live fat and happy here in the U.S. It boils down to this:Freedom vs. Comfort. God calls us to give up our comfort in exchange for our freedom. Lord bless us with your sovereign plan. Keith was and is still impacting my life today. So has Melody. Many joyful tears have flowed, even as I write this. Thank you for serving Jesus and all of your unselfish sacrifice.

Keith died the year I was born, the same year My Father became a Christian, I grew up listening too Keith Green. It is soothing My soul right now, I be home this year, just found out My aorta has blown out too 69cm, I have Marfan's syndrome. God has seen fit too keep Me around since My last dissection in 2014 and surgery before that. I can look at it as a win, win, if I go or stay.

I’m seeing this today may 13th 2020, wow is all I can say. I found out about Keith Green today and wow, what a servant, no compromising. I’m living in a time of false teachers, compromised worshippers, money loving preachers. My heart aches for the world right now, and wow God knows why he made me come across this. I need Jesus, I need to go out to the world and preach Jesus, not be comfortable in my home behind a screen, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms thinking i am serving the Lord this way, it’s so wrong. Jesus People USA from 1970s he was at Our Commune..I left in early 90s as God had called us to grow further by learning what we could not when protected like children it seemed.. Good people for getting your act together..they had Keith Green at the Ministry I think ibecause I remember the older members talking about it. They said Keith was Groovy but had a short fuse lol..I think that's gossip lol Anyway I loved the 70s and that's when I got close to Jesus and He's been with me..even when I hated Him for letting my husband die..I had to repent for backsliding angry rage and rebellion which made me nuts w the jerk stupid mean cruel icky men I got tangled up with..finally 6 yrs ago I let GO of all of it..If the man isn't following Jesus he can't be my husband dangit! 12-21-24 Currently I have on replay his song, "How Majestic Is Thy Name In All The Earth (Psalm 8)." I like his other songs too, but this is my favorite. I was in prison 6 or 7 years when he and the others in the plane crash passed away. May they RIP. I'm sure I heard about it, but I don't recall hearing of it in 1982 when it happened. I was trying to find a video of KG performing Live "How Majestic..." since I've been enthralled with it, but ended up watching this whole video emphasizing ministry abroad. And, I agreed with your prayer at the end, to be used of God, wherever, however, etc. I was incarcerated 32 years (1976-2008). Thank God I'm now free, since 3-10-08, 16 years! Though I turned to God 76, 77, or 78 (when first water baptized), in about 1980, I turned from God. For many years I turned from, and back to God. As a result, much doubts of salvation resulted. Additional salvation prayers and water baptisms came. The reason was, each time I said a new salvation prayer, and added a new water baptism, I said all others did not count because I was not saved the other times, or perhaps I wasn't sure I was saved, I add. Only God can give assurance of salvation. Currently, I've prayed, asking God to save me if I am not saved, and if I was already saved, to reveal that? This prayer was 12-18-24. I ask y'all that pray, in the comments, to pray with me that God fully absolve my doubts? As of 12-18-24, with God's help, I am living for God, and believing I was already saved, or have been saved, as of 12-18-24. A friend told me my receipt Implant of my two upper right teeth is the best Christmas gift ever. Well, full assurance from God will surpass that! On KZbin I tell of my errands on my channel. This is the first time I have seen the video from his wife, Melody. I listened to Kieth in the mid 80's. I had bought a tape cassette for a friend as a Birthday present. Through unfortunate circumstances, I never saw my friend again, but I listened to Keith’s music and was so touched that I wrote a letter to him, letting him know how much his music touched me. With a stamp on an envelope, I was talking to a friend from church and told him about my letter. Only to find out (no internet) that Keith had gone to be with the Lord a few years back. Almost 40 years now as I'm typing this, since his death. I never met Keith or heard him play live, as I was born in 1991. My mother, however, would tell me about him, and introduced me to his music. Her faith was structured to his music in her early years. To this day, I listen and sing with Keith as if he's alive still today. I weep every time I listen to his songs. The Holy Spirit speaks to my soul so deeply when hearing his music. I love Keith and I never met him. His music always points me back to God. I heard some of Keith's songs when I was at His Mansion Ministry's in deering, NH. That was in the 80s. You could hear his love for Jesus in his voice. The love for souls in his music. As a young mum it had a big impact on the spiritual lives of our children and our family as they grew up. And I'll be handing this wonderful legacy down to my 2 little granddaughters. There were maybe 100 ppl there that evening, but it was the night he dedicated his piano to the Lord. I had never seen the type of "performance" from Keith, as that night. Several times during the event he would suddenly stop in the middle of a song and call out healings or personal salvation pleas to specific people. One of those he called out was sitting right next to me and I knew that he was a local pastor of 15-20 years, but was apparently not saved. I've know that pastor for nearly 40 years now and can attest to the fact that his entire ministry changed in remarkable ways from that night forward! Bless you Yeshua for Loving us that much!

I drove from Evansville, IN to Kiel Auditorium in Saint Louis to see Keith perform on April 17, 1982. It was just Keith and a piano and a pulpit. He preached half of the concert on the atonement from Isaiah 53.

I would have loved to have met him as he truly has been an influence as far as my love for our Lord. Keith Green and his music have been part of my entire life. I was born in 1970 so as soon as I was old enough to know what Christian music was, I began listening to Keith. His desperation, for the lost was very evident in his songs, as well as his love for the Lord. He and Rich Mullins profoundly changed Christian music. Their whole purpose in singing and producing Christian music, was to bring people to the Lord. I am so thankful for those two men.

I’m watching this February 14, 2022. Been listening Keith Green music and his teaching. Jesus had me look him his music after 42 years of listening to his album. I know God has spoken to me through his servants Keith Green and his wife Melody. Starting evangelism class.for 12 weeks with going out to tell others about Jesus and His saving grace and repentance. I’m praying if God leads me to the mission field that I will go. I’m 57 years old but I’m still called. So thankful for this ministry and Jesus using it to reach out to me and others!!

I have spent the last hours in tears. So saddened by the evil of today. It was the Super Blue Blood Moon lasr night, 31/1/18, and I was listening to the channel "A Call for an Uprising " on YT. He was talking about the sacrifices the Satanists did last night globally and the torture and death of innocent children, animals and men and women. I am afraid that I couldn't listen to the end of it. It hurt my soul. When I think of the love that Jesus Christ showed us by his horrendous death on the cross and the sin that is so prevalent today my heart hurt. I am 53 years old. I am the mother of 5 adult children, and my oldest son was only 2 months old when Keith died. I remember getting the Last Days Ministry magazine and the pro life tracts that Melody did later. I became a Christian in my teens, but now I wonder "What have I done for Jesus?". I truly believe that these are the "last days", when right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right. What can I offer the King of Kings and Lord of Lords? Keith gave his all,. He accomplished ALL that God appointed him to do and then he took him and 2 little ones home! I have one living grandson, but at least another 5 in Heaven who are not here due to their parents selfishness but 1 to a miscarriage. I remember how my heart was broken when my son told me that he and his girlfriend killed their baby. She and another granddaughter would be 9 now. I remembered my grief tonight when I thought about how SAD Jesus must be, He who NEVER sinned, when He looks at His creation. I am thankful for the power of the gospel that is STILL in Keith's music, nearly 36 years after his death. I am rededicating my life to whatever ministry Christ haa for me to do. I will either be here for the Rapture or with Him already. I cannot lose. But my heart aches for those who are lost and in the grip of evil. Jesus said before His death "forgive them for they know not what they do". I am in physical pain each day, but this is only temporary . I ask that, if you read this some time in the future, that you pray that I may be living as Jesus wants me to, but that you also pray for those that Satan is trying to take into Eternal damnation with him. And that He comes quickly! Thank you!

When we were dating in 1983 just 6 months after his tragic plane crash, Cheryl and I went to one of those memorial concerts in KC. When the invitation was given "Jesus commands us to go" Cheryl immediately stood up. At the time I knew she was the one I wanted to spend my life with. But on the mission field in some dark place like Africa? God and I had a little talk that night. I don't think I stood up with Cheryl then, but I have stood up with her and "Jesus for 34 years now who commands US to go. It should be the exception if we stay." You all can be praying for Cheryl. Yesterday on call she lost a NICU baby at 1pm. A mom at 3 pm. And a mom and baby at 10pm. Most folks here have no prenatal care, they just come in when they are very very sick or when non functioning government hospitals either turn them away or refer them since they can't, sometimes won't help these poor people.
