I just wanna say as someone who dealt with cancer for 6 years, this is really hilariously accurate. I’d get called “strong” and “a fighter” for doing the most mundane things while going through chemo at the same time. Like no Diane I’m just here at the grocery store it’s really not a big deal. Despite all of this I wish all the best to Keith, and whatever he has to go through to handle his cancer may he do it in the most ordinary and mundane way.

Around this time last year, we learned that my mother has cancer. Then so soon after a family friend, my aunt, my great grandfather and my boyfriend's sister all were diagnosed with different cancers. Then it was Keith. His first Instagram post hit me hard. It felt like everyone around me was getting diagnosed, and to see one of my favorite KZbinrs be diagnosed too, it was a lot to handle. But seeing Keith continue to be in videos, having fun with the cast, cracking jokes, his contagious laughter and smile, it really does mean a lot. After losing so much and having so much anxiety in the last year, Keith your dedication to making content and continuing on with Smosh has made me laugh and smile, even on days where it feels impossible. Never lose hope. Always remember that so many people who had cancer also got cured and pulled through. Especially in your case where the cancer is still in it's very early stages, and would therefore have a higher chance of being treated with chemotherapy. As someone who has had both of their parents go through three separate battles with cancer each as well as having fought cancer myself, I believe humor is a very important part of surviving the experience. Much love to Keith, and the rest of the cast and crew! Keep up the dark humor, it will help you in all the challenges life throws at you and allow you to give one of the greatest gifts a person can give: laughter.

I just found out about this, I hope he'll be alright. Keith has been a part of the Smosh group for years now, and even now he's still trying to stay positive about it. I feel people that don't know might mistake this as making fun of cancer at first but I'm glad he had that little moment at the end to talk about it. Stay strong Keith!

I found out a few days ago, through overhearing a conversation, that my mom has breast cancer. She's going into surgery for it tomorrow, and has yet to tell me. It's difficult to bring up, but this was a little relieving, thanks for the laugh.
