When do you know if a new bird is good or not? Just because due to space some people could only breed 10-15 pairs and with the BOP, out of 6 babies you might have 2 make it through the fly season so how do you judge a bird out of 1-2 babies?

I can't speak for everyone else, but I give them 1 - 2 seasons in the kit and two breeding seasons in the loft and I go from there.
