This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Every track, the band, Keith’s singing (even if his voice is a bit worn😏), and Steve Jordan’s production. The band is a collection of monsters: Steve,Charley Drayton, Ivan Neville, Waddy Wachtel, plus a bunch of killer guests. So much meat on these bones.

The first Keith Richards reaction. Thanks. I think you will like his live performance of Locked Away. Greetings from Amsterdam

You reacted to this awhile ago, but I loved your reaction. Long time Stones fan and huge Keith Richards fan. I first heard this song, when it came out on Talk is Cheap, my reaction was “this should put the fear of God, in Mick Jagger”, Keith denies it but it is clearly about Mick. The Wino’s are an exceptional band and absolutely fantastic in concert. You would probably also like Take it so Hard from the same album. Love that you reacted to the KR & the Wino’s!

Keith Richards and The Band did a song called A Deuce and a Quarter. Worth reacting to.

If I’m not mistaken, this was a Mick Jagger dis track. Seriously. It was Keith’s first solo album, and he and Mick were on the outs. I love other songs on Talk Is Cheap more than this one, but it’s important because of the beef.

I’m a Keith / Stones fan and Inlove this album and his band the Winos, but this track leaves me flat. Have this album on vinyl and it’s the lone dud to me on an otherwise great album (the last great “stones like” album)

Not familiar with this song, but I love Keith Richards.
