Keith Titanium, (IMHO), makes the highest quality products on the market. I have the small coffee set and justify its cost by using it almost every day. That small set can also be used for brewing gaiwan style tea which increases its value as a travel item. This new filter will be a welcome addition for those wanting a larger cup of coffee. Thank you for another terrific review of a guaranteed outstanding product from Keith Titanium. Lol, yes, I am biased because I enjoy many products made by this top notch company.

I agree. Keith is pricey but matched by their quality. Thanks for commenting

I've tried the cheap screen filters and even the best one I've tried allowed coffee "dust" to come through the filter. Getting no fines in your cup without a paper filter is awesome. I think you can bushcraft an outdoor holder for it Mark. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Steve. This filter is so good at keeping fines out but I do have to come up with something I can use it with in the woods. Thanks for commenting

I kinda like some of the grinds in my cup. A little crunchy is a good thing. Adds a little something to the flavor.

Looks great! But yes, really not useful before we have the outdoor holder available :)

I agree. It will most versatile with the portable holder. Thanks for commenting

Bend a piece of stainless (like a skewer from the dollar store) into a triangle big enough to fit over your cup. That might work to hold the filter as long as it holds it up high enough to keep it out of the liquid. Not sure how stable it would be but might be an option

That could be a simple solution worth trying. Thanks for commenting

I’m thinking that a collapsible silicone funnel shaped holder that sits flat on the cup would be ideal!… possibly one that had rings on the underside of the flat bottom to center it on different cup sizes!…

There are collapsible silicone pour-over devices that will work better than a funnel and cost very little. I have shown them in other videos. They do require a paper filter of course. Thanks for commenting

Price also justifies quality and longevity. I am ready to have this home and trail set but will be patient for it's arrival. The conical shape may also make for easier cleaning.

I agree. This will likely become a real go to for me once there is a portable holder for the filter. Thanks for commenting

You say there are no fines in the coffee… have you poured the brewed coffee through a filter to confirm this?
@MarkYoungBushcraft3 күн бұрын
No, I have not. Since fines can be very small it is possible a few may make it through this filter: however, I have not detected any in my cup and none were left behind. If there are any, they remain suspended in the liquid. Thanks for commenting
