Brilliant vocals....You make the Song shine.....Voicelive is a nice touch. I have one as well, just remember that it is easy to sometimes over process things when it comes to our musical toys. You have a voice that could carry that song without technical support. The tools just polish it up to a sparkle.

Awesome job! Excellent use of the Voicelive Play. I like the tempo of this better than the original also.
@JonCyrMusic7 жыл бұрын
Thanks...it is actually the Play Acoustic which is slightly different from the Voice Live because the guitar goes through it as well so it recognizes the chords you are playing!

I'm going to give you a little bit of constructive feedback. The one thing I would say is in the future on the chorus get rid of that high Harmony you got going on and just put in a low Harmony underneath your voice because when you hit that Harmony in the highs it's literally almost ear piercing and kind of ruins it. you're already singing the part where it supposed to be sung in the high end. If you bring in that low Harmony setting I think it'll compliment your voice really well on this song. The only other thing is maybe try to boost the tempo a little bit and maybe a little bit more bouncy picking Style. Other than that man your voice sound solid. Good cover

I appreciate the constructive feedback here. I have often wondered about some songs that I sing higher and if they should be accented with "LOW HARMONY" settings but often find it messes with my singing and sounds robotic on the low harmony settings. Will look into it more though now that you mention it.

hey Jon, what settings are you using on the TC Helicon Play Acoustic?
@JonCyrMusic7 жыл бұрын
Factory Settings...just using the Two High Patch...I think it is patch #5

Well you certain did a fine job. I'd be interested in see more of your stuff. Do you do any instructional videos, or do you just play N sing?
@JonCyrMusic7 жыл бұрын
No...I usually just play tunes and try to make sure people can see my hands to know how to play the songs. Actually that tends to be the way I learn most of my acoustic covers...by watching how others play them on youtube!

Good job on this and your other videos demoing this toy.I'm especially impressed how the harmony follows your voice on parts like at around 2:50 when you are just strumming one chord.I am curious, even though you say its a preset-do you have it set to auto or did you enter a specific chord to follow?Also do you usually have it set to auto when you play out or need to set it to specific keys in the presets to ensure its more accurate?thanks
